OT Oregon wildfires

It could be 30 years before it looks like it did last week. That makes me profoundly sad, that I might not live long enough to see it like I saw it last month.

Above right, not down by the lodge I hope.

Sounds like this is headed west and north. Both the lodge and the surrounding forest are in danger of burning.

Half brother lives in troutdale and said his neighbors are really starting to get nervous.

That's actually coming out of my anus. The wife's enchiladas tonight were smokin'!

This shit is honestly sad. Some of the best trails over there, wildlife, ecosystems just being fucked. Because some humans decided to fuck it up. Go figure. We always find a way
It's pretty fucked up. That Eagle Creek trail is one of my favorites. I am much more upset because it was caused by a dumbass Human.

The one close to my place here in southern Oregon was at least caused by nature. Not much you can do about that. Although it is burning up my favorite childhood swimming hole. That hurts......

Crown point, angels rest, oneonta, etc. of course multnomah falls. That's my childhood man. That's a lot of summer trips I took just to experience these trails over and over again and now ruined. It's sad really

Yesterday I felt like garbage, no energy. Don't know if it's from the air or what.

Meh. Not getting nervous yet in my neighborhood in Troutdale.

More nervous because Asthma was already a bitch before all this ash in my air.

Whether you agree that humans are causing it or not, I don't see how people can deny that our climate is changing.

I don't know anyone who thinks the climate isn't changing.

Trump names climate science denier to run NASA

Republican Congressman had demanded Obama apologize for funding climate change research

In a Friday night news dump, the White House announced that President Donald Trump Plans to nominate Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-OK), a climate science denier to be administrator of NASA.

Bridenstine is a politician without any scientific credentials, unlike previous NASA chiefs, and for that reason his nomination has already been criticized by both Florida’s senators Marco Rubio (R) and Bill Nelson (D), Politico reports. Rubio said, “I just think [his nomination] could be devastating for the space program.”

NASA scientists have led the way in documenting the scientific reality of climate change. But in 2013, Bridenstine not only gave a speech on the House floor filled with standard denier talking points, he actually ended his remarks with a demand that President Obama apologize for funding research into climate science.

So because someone starts a fire, or even lightning starts a fire, means ckimate change? While there may be climate change, I can't see how a forest fire indicates that?

No AC in my apt. Top floor. In Gresham. Didn't have a choice but to shut all windows last night. I was getting a headache from all the smoke. It was like there was a campfire right outside my window and my fan was just blowing it in. It's so ugly out here. Ugh.
