The Warriors were already planning on playing small for stretches, but no one saw this coming. Nelson said this week that 6-foot-3, 202-pound Acie Law would get the majority of his minutes at small forward.

“He’s a natural there. He’s just small,” Nelson said. “But I think that’s about the only spot I have unless there’s an injury or something.”

Law is one of five point guards under contract with the Warriors.

Wow.. they really need to change that whole team up. Start over with Curry and hope they can build something eventually.

Does that mean Maggette is gonna play center?

When I was watching the PHoenix/Golden State game that was played in Indian Springs California they were guarding Channing Frye with Anthony Morrow (6'4"). Folks were all over posting about "Wow Channing Frye is playing great". No not really. He is playing against a Don Nelson team.

So when I see this, I actually believe it.

I'm a natural NBA center. Unfortunately I am too short and not NEARLY good enough. I wonder if Nellie can get me into the lineup that way.

Funny how about a year ago, the W's were a complete team of small forwards? now, they have so many PG's that they have to play a 6'3 lotto-pick PG there.

I don't understand why they are worried about getting Law minutes at all. He's going to be 25 in January and hasn't cracked 11 PER in either season in Atlanta. The guy looks like a bust to me, and I don't know if having him way out of position at the small forward is going to make him a better player.

I just want to watch Acie Law defend LeBron James once. Nellie is the most entertaining head coach in the NBA. That's not always a good thing in terms of winning, but I for one am glad he's in the league (so long as he's not coach of the Blazers)!

With Curry, Ellis, Morrow in the guard rotation, SJax at SF, Anthony Randolph at PF and Biedrins at C they have a lot of young, cheap attractive pieces (minus SJax for that assessment). I don't expect them to make any noise as a team, but these players could develop and win games. Unfortunately for GS fans, those wins will come on other teams ala the Clippers of the early 2000's.

LOL!!!!!! The Warriors are a mess. This makes me want to be the GM for them on NBA2k10 and fix them up.

Can I play a Season with the Blazers and play the Association mode also?
