Its a pretty typical outlook though.
A lot of nightlife venues, restaurants, hotels do not want to become a "black venue" or attract that crowd. They just hide it a lot better.

I think what Sterling didn't want was the Clippers to become the team of the poorer black and mexican population of LA. I mean a lot of them are Laker fans but they can't afford the Laker ticket prices.

Remember a few years ago, Sterling took a woman to the lockeroom and said "I want to show you all these beautiful black bodies that work me. Aren't they beautiful?". He was objectifying them like they were slaves. Very disturbing. No one has brought this up today.

What does attract "that crowd" mean? And if the Clippers become a team of the poorer blacks and Mexicans of LA, what would the problem be? Do you think he would be fine if poor whites wanted to attend games? Sterling actually did not mention financial status so I don't know where he came up with that conclusion.

The problem would be that there would be no corporate partnerships, people would be scared to attend games in fear of getting stabbed and it'll just look kind of bush league and, well, ghetto fab.

I just watched the Adam Silver press conference. I have to say that I really like the guy. Compassionate and intelligent and really cares about the NBA and its fans and players.
 
His press conference needed more force chokes and sith lightning.

So according to you, a black venue is a ghetto-ass crowd? I don't see how your post is any better than Sterling's comments. Sterling did not say he did not want ghetto people at his game, he specifically said black people. If people are fearful of getting stabbed because more black people are in attendance then it says more about America and the lack of racial progress made.
