Clipper fans are a weird bunch. I have a few friends that are Clipper fans and they have been for a while. A bit reserved/quiet...the real fans are pretty good actually, they're a lot better than L*ker fans. They've been polite in the past for the most part.

What can be done? That's a lot of money he's invested. Surely they can't remove him, just pressure him out right? I'm sure he will be fined deservingly before leaving too.

I'm thinking they league could seize the franchise and sell it for him over the summer. It'll get premium money.
 
2 things about this as I'm just now reading the actual story instead of the blips on twitter:

1. I heard the whole recording. Why does his GF apologize and rationalize with this bigot?
2. I just can't get over the contradiction of why this dick is involved in a sport with over 80% of the players being black.

The GF is setting him up. She's getting sued by Shelly Sterling for all the money Donald gave her over the years. This is payback for it, nothing more. Its out there to embarrass Shelly Sterling as a Beverly Hills socialite with Donald as collateral damage.
 
As for the second point, its how the world works. Corporate overlords are manipulating everyone.

You just can't cure stupid! He's toast,, stick a fork in him, I think it'll be like when the NBA owned the New Orleans Hornets. Strange Chris Paul was part of both stories. Silver will suspend him IMO
 
It will be interesting to see what happens in this case. I don't think they will throw him out of the NBA but there will sure be a strong punishment.

Well if they do throw him out I'm betting the NBA would be the next interim owner. Owners don't just grow on trees I'm sure finding someone like that is easier said than done.
