Looks like he nailed that pretty good, lol.
I note he didn't mention that you can't win a play-off series with Andre Miller as your starting PG.

With "veterans" like crybaby Andre Miller, I'm sure Karl is glad to be gone.
This idiot thinks he should be starting over Ty Lawson. Hahaha!
Plus, no wonder the team flamed out against GS, when Miller had already thrown in the towel before the All-Star break.

“I congratulate George Karl (said with laugh), I know he didn’t want to win it either, no disrespect…. I’m not very superstitious, but all coaches, I think, understand (the stigma of) that award. It’s not quite as definitive as the Sports Illustrated (cover) jinx, but it’s pretty close.”
—Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, speaking of his second place finish in the Coach of the Year award voting, via Tom Haberstroh at ESPN’s TrueHoop blog.
The jinx is that the Coach of the Year got fired not long after for a long stretch — Mike Brown in Cleveland, Byron Scott in New Orleans, Sam Mitchell in Toronto, Avery Johnson in Dallas. The award garnered a superstition because of it.
George Karl won the award this year and the previous three winners — Gregg Popovich, Tom Thibodeau and Scott Brooks — are all still with their teams.

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA -Beyond Brian Shaw and Lionel Hollins, Denver plans to examine Nate McMillan and Alvin Gentry for head coaching job, league sources tell Y!
Are any of those coaches even a fraction as good as Karl? The rumor here is that Karl was being a pain in the ass because they let Ujiri go.
This is all personal and has little to do with basketball.

Nuggets reportedly parted ways with George Karl because he wasn’t listening to management http://dlvr.it/3TmmQ1
There's a huge conflict between Josh Kroenke (Stan's son) and Pete D'Alessandro on one side and Ujiri and Karl on the other. We saw what happened to Ujiri, is it any surprise what happened to Karl? As for which side to take, of the two sides, which one was more responsible for the success of the team?
Avery Johnson was fired after being coach of the previous month. This also demonstrates why awards should be voted for after the post season.
...........If I ever repped anyone, I'd consider you right now before laughing it off, so hold up your chins and feel proud.
