Dwight Howard has apparently told the Orlando Magic that they should keep him for the rest of the year and "roll the dice" on him re-signing. If I were Orlando, I would trade him IMMEDIATELY to the worst team in the league and tell him what he can do with his advice . . .

I mean, are you kidding me?? If Howard wants to commit to Orlando, then he should do so and sign a new long-term deal. Otherwise, why should they take a chance on him going somewhere else this summer and leaving them empty-handed???

Screw Dwight Howard. I hope he never wins a title.

what a douche. he's so going to pull a Shaq on them. Its like us drafting centers in the lottery. you know what's going to happen.

If they let him walk, doesn't he stand to make far less money?

True, but why not hurt him the most you can. Fuck these athletes. I get the whole shouldn't be forced to live where you don't want to live, but that should be the risk in return for making millions of dollars playing a fucking game

He will be a villian for sure in Orlando and I lost my respect for him.

Pizza guys idea is a solid one, IMO

Either slot the teams from 1-30 in terms of market size, or better yet, poll the players as to the best and worst cities to play in. Then give the last place team the most cap space and the most money to spend on these guys through profit sharing. That way, LA, NY etc wouldn't be as appealing

I think we have a credible argument for being the worst team in the league right now with the way we have been playing and the lack of leadership.

Can we have him????

If so, can you change your wish about him never winning a championship???

;)

Gramps...

Addidas has said they want him in LA or NY. He is up for a new contract soon.

Rose just got a new endorsement contract. $170mil.

You do the math.

Still loses money, but I guess at some point it doesn't matter anymore

Three-way with Portland, Lakers and Orlando

So let's give them what they want...

Portland trades Aldridge, Wallace, and Camby. They receive Gasol and Bynum.

Lakers trade: Bynum, Gasol and their first rounder. They receive: Howard, Camby and Wallace.

Orlando trades Howard. They receive Laker's pick and Aldridge.

I think Orlando would be crazy to at least not try to trade him to the Lakers for Bynum. Bynum is becoming a force in the league.

I said this a while ago, too. If I were running things in Orlando, my first and probably every other call would be to the L*kers for Bynum

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA

Said one Magic player on Howard meeting: "Next year was not even mentioned in meeting...He told us he was "all-in" for this season."

Looks like he's going to pull a LJ on Orlando. Poor guys...

Now Howard is saying he will stay at least until the end of his contract, which includes next season. What a tool. Apparently he realized the "roll the dice" comment was going to completely ruin his public image, and decided to come out with a new one.

You think giving up Aldridge is a good idea for Gasol and Bynum? Are you off your rocker?
