In that video, he's better than Aldridge at getting uncontested rebounds. He stands under the basket and waits for them to fall into his lap. Aldridge stands 12 feet out and waits for them to fall into his lap.

Sabonis' son is going to be a good one. He's putting up monster numbers in FIBA play.

About to be a 9 page spread in Sports Illustrated about Damontas Sabonis. Some are predicting he might be just be at Gonzaga for 2 years before he goes to the league.

Yeah, people have been saying he'll be lottery when he leaves. Equivalent of 5 star recruit. Was under the radar though because no one thought he would leave Europe for college.

Credit to Tommy Lloyd. That guy has been an amazing recruiter getting guys to come from far away to play in Spokane, Washington to play for a small school in a small conference.

Zags are going to win it all this year.

I think he's a lock to go lotto. His footwork is already insane. His FIBA play and the skillset he showed last night, I see a lot of Greg Monroe in his game.

He plays a lot tougher than Monroe. Kind of a throwback.

On another note...Sabonis is a player!

Recently moved to Spokane, and now required to become a Zags fan. Well, last night got my first look at this freshman, and he is going to be something! Excited to get to see him develop.

Make sure you catch a few Gonzaga games when they play on TV....Going to be a good year.

I think he staying for 2 years.

He's a backup this year and he still needs to put some weight on if he wants to hang with the big boys. His dad will give him solid advice.

That's a really good question actually. Kind of a really long drive from Lithuania or Spain or wherever they're at though.

I'm sure she would if she could.
