Have you watched him yet? Kid is beasting. Very in control of himself. Reminds me of his dad a lot.

He is as hard-nosed as they come. Just bosses people around on the court. He came to the US because he wanted the college education, otherwise he would have just stayed in Europe. He was playing in the ACB league in Spain backing up Fran Vazquez as a 17 year old. He's used to playing against grown men.

No one was more excited when the the Blazers drafted Arvydas Sabonis than me and no one was a bigger fan. But the Blazers board doesn't need to be cluttered with three threads about the same Gonzaga Bullfrog. Or any Bullfrogs for that matter. It baffles me why these aren't merged.
 
So he's wearing No. 11? That's awesome. I'd love to have Son of Arvydas on the Blazers!

I don't know how we're going to get a high enough draft pick to get him when we have the best record in the league for the next three straight years, though.

I refuse to go search for this kids highlights.......if anyone who is hyped on him want to share, that would be great. Adam Morrison white guy or Tom Chambers?

10 pts and 11 rbs in 19 mins last night.

Gonzaga is deep. Doubt he puts up huge numbers this year because the minutes aren't there (the team doesn't feature someone to try to push up that players stock) but you can see the skill.
 
He knows how to rebound and post on bigger older men. Kid is tough and sounds like he might have dads shooting stroke though I havent seen him shoot yet just beast down low.
 
He's listed as 6'11" and 230 lbs, but that seems generous. He's definitely bulked up a bit since being listed at 209 though. Kid remind me of a more physical Cody Zeller.
 
He's going to be an interesting prospect to keep an eye on. To me, he just has that beast like hunger. Watch how hard he competes. That's what would separate him from guys like Zeller.
