Saw him play on Saturday, and he is definitely impressive. He can only go left at this point, but he does it incredibly well. Was hoping to see him with a bit of his dad's passing, but didn't see much of it. He's only like 19, so he has some time to develop. Would like to see him here for at least three years, which I think he needs.

Turned 18 in May.

Still wet behind the ears. But, as a true Freshman and coming off the bench, he's leading the Zags in scoring and rebounding. That's a top 10 Zags team.

There's parts of his game he hasn't unleashed yet. I've heard he has a smooth stroke on his jumper, even from 3pt territory. He's scored pretty much all his buckets in the paint so far this year.

Domantas is listed as a lottery pick in 2016 on the draft websites.

You heard about him here, first.

Re: OT: Zags going hard after Sabonis' son
Was Sabonis ever an All Star? Who wants half of a non-All Star on our team?

Geez! I would have never guessed there were people in this forum so damn uninformed.

My reaction the first time I saw Sabonis play was to suppress the thoughts that this might be the best center I have ever seen play the game. By half time I could no longer suppress the thought. This was 1985 in Germany I think.

Last night, to ease the pain of the Dallas loss, I watched my recording of the Gonzaga-SF game.
I am really impressed with Sabonis. I already want to draft him. He is tough, has a nose for the ball and seems to be a tireless rebounder. Uses his lower body really well, great footwork, and seems to have great basketball IQ/decision-making. (wonder where he got that) It doesn't look like any team wants to guard him 1-on-1 in the post where he has pretty impressive moves. I'm not sure he couldn't do well right now in the NBA and he's only a freshman. It's going to be fun to see what he is like at the next level, hopefully in Portland.

Love his game. Tough as nails and gritty. Not as finesse as his Pops was as an NBA'er (I never really got to see his dad in his prime other than highlights). He needs to put some muscle on still though, he's strong now, but a wiry strong. Talk is that he's loving the college experience and in no rush jump to the league. He's real young for a college frosh.

I would love to steal him in the draft. So then I can bump this amazing thread.

He will be top 7 pick (maybe even top 4) when he decides to come out. Very hard to move up in the draft that high to snag him.

Arvydas watches some of the games from the same feed I sometimes watch the games from and posts from Lithuania. The moderator admits the IP address is coming from Lithuania.

You think its really him? He doesn't say too much. I think it might be him.

You guys keep killing me.... Lots of you complain about Batum playing for France every season but want this guy on your squad....

Sabonis has committed to playing for Lithuania EVERY summer.

He's been playing real solid in the tournament so far. I bet by the time all is said and done he ends up being a lottery pick, if not hes a steal for who ever gets him.

Anyone watching the Zags? Sabonis 19pts and 10 rebounds.

He looked like an inside oriented Detlef Schrempf.

I see his stock going up big time.
The Blazers are ready to go after more veteran players but he is the only player I wish the Blazers could get in this draft.
