Seriously fuck ABC, all half time is KOBE KOBE LAKERS KOBE LAKERS KOBE

And that LA crowd is a disgrace to the game.

I like Stan Van Gundy as a coach. He's a good motivator, or seems like it that is. But if I was a player, I could see after awhile that he could become really annoying over time.

Portland's crowd in the first pre-season game against Sacto was MUCH louder than this pathetic LA crowd in the first game of the Finals.

That's because L*ker fans are the worst in the game. by far. dumbest, most annoying, and lowest basketball IQ.

Save for Jeff Van Gundy, i love that commentator crew. Especially Marc Jackson.

I'll admit I was wrong to say Roy is better than Kobe.

And the introducter guy for LA sucks balls. So damn boring and unenthusiastic. I miss the guy from Detroit.

Ahh, the tears of portland fans are sweet:lol:

Lakers 2009 champs.

Terrible game. Sucks. I feel like I did after Game 1 of Blazers/Rockets. Ugh.

Der Fuhrer Stern has apparently sent down his choice for NBA Champion this year.

how do people still throw this around when the Cavs just lost.. dont you think that if he was doing this he would get a lot more money with Lebron v Kobe?

Man...do I wish the Blazers make it to the NBA Finals sometime in the near future. This town would go CRAZY, and just be draped with scarlet and black all over.

I know! there have been times I have thought about it and the atmosphere.. get goosebumps! and a tear in my eye of course.

I've thought about it as well, and would honestly admit I'd maybe cry tears of joy if we got there with this group. It'd be amazing.

I think we'll make it next year. We just needed to dip our toe in the pool this season. Next season, we'll go for the whole thing. I watch the Magic and the Lakers and know in my heart that we can beat both of them. As Hollinger said, we had the best point differential in the league in the second half of the season. We just had a problem with Houston and had never been there before. Next year is our year.

Yeah I already explained to my wife.. the day they win, I will just lose it. I will not be going to work for a week, and without a doubt will be crying tears of joy for a while that day!

it will be very, very soon. Maybe even next year depending on Greg's development.

Yeah if Greg can stay on the floor his defense alone will get us to the WCF.

And now you see the difference between having a big team and a small team. Now you can see the difference between guarding Turkoglu (6'9"+) with Delonte West (6'3) or Mo Williams (6'4") instead of a Trevor Ariza (6'8"), Lamar Odom (6'10"), Luke Walton (6'8") or even Kobe.

This is why I harped all season "Go big". It doesn't matter if you don't have as much speed as the other team, as long as you have "enough" speed.

This notion Laker fans aren't loud is a myth. Go sit up in the high level seats when you get a chance and you'll see how rowdy it gets. I know the fans in the expensive courtside seats don't have much of a reaction, but there's plenty of high energy level fans throughout the arena. Lakers sell out every seat in the house all season long.

I don't really see how anyone can judge how loud a stadium is based on a television broadcast, anyway. How they have it mic'd up and mixed with other sound really impacts how it comes across on the TV.

Ed O.

Exactly. I'm not sure what the seating compacity or square footage Staples is compared to other basketball venues, but I imagine it's one of the larger ones so the sound isn't going to be as amplied like it would in Sacramento.

I have to say, I was at the Houston game last November (when Roy hit those last two incredible shots to win the game) and I have never heard a place so loud...I thought my ears were going to bleed. I loved it though!

I don't get that same impression from Staples Center...even if it is on TV.

Come visit Autzen Stadium.. we'll show you a good time :D

I went to a Promise Keepers event there years ago and I mainly remember getting the worst sun burn ever...sat on the "sun" side I guess.
