Dwight Howard just picked up a technical foul, which puts him over the limit & he will be suspended. Their next game....against Portland!

OT(kind of): Great News for Blazers!

Howard just received his 16th technical which means he'll be suspended for his next game. The Magic's next game is against.....

The Blazers!

Re: OT(kind of): Great News for Blazers!

This is a sweet thread!

Re: Good news

Too bad all technical fouls are reviewable! The ref's can't seem to get it right the first time! Dwight "swung" the ball and got a T for it

Re: Good news

Does this mean we let Roy sit against Orlando, so he can play against Miami?

Re: Good news

The only time I wanna see Roy sit is when the starters are in:

AnDre
Wesley
Nicolas / G
G / LMA
LMA / Marcus

No Dwight Howard against the Blazers?

Dwight just picked up a tech! He now will be suspended for the next game...... that's us!

Re: No Dwight Howard against the Blazers?

Sorry, didn't see the other thread. Why was that moved to OT? That has nothing but to do with the Blazers!

Re: No Dwight Howard against the Blazers?

Its not your fault he didnt put the actual topic in the thread title. I never understand why people dont do that.

Re: Good news

Three people start the same thread, two at the same time!

Re: Good news

$10 says the rest of the magic play their best game of the year

Re: Good news

If we don't learn to play defense by the Orlando game wont mean much that Howard is out.

Not necessarily. Does Orlando now go small? They have good outside shooters and we do not play well against those types of teams. I think we will need the depth on the wings for that game.

This will still be tough. They shoot lights out. We of all people should know what short handed teams can do.

I agree. When we are on the road it is best to catch a team when they are complacent. Catch them a little un-motivated. That certainly won't happen now. Of course I am still glad he is out.

a team who lives and dies by the 3. those teams we cant defend to save our life.

however... blazers have beaten orlando 3 of last 5 times

they shoot the 3 all of 1.9% better then Portland... does that mean you think the Blazers shoot the lights out too?

of course having a low post threat really helps a team get open looks... much tougher sledding from the outside for them with Howard out. I hope the refs don't get whistle happy trying to keep their mediocre supporting cast in the game.
