OT: Has anyone here used ballstreams before?

Yeah. Running out of hdmi inputs though is my problem

Look for an HDMI splitter on Amazon, I ran out of inputs long ago. They need to stop releasing decent games on the PS3 or port them over to the 4 so I can put my PS3 in storage for good.

I've thought about those, but then I realized that most of my inputs are from video game stuff. Probably would have input latency issues with games.

And I agree on PS3. But unfortunately my go'rram backlog is too big to out it away lol

The ps3 makes a great living room streaming device. All I use my ps3 for anymore is plex and wwe network lol

Yep that too. Plus it's nicer with the media remote. I still need to beat some random PS3 games like Ico, shadow of colossus, etc too. The mrs uses it for Netflix and crap too. Oh and it works on external drives with shows that I've gotten via certain means ;)

I like the idea of Plex, but i'm too lazy to leave my computer on to use it, lol.

The wifi in my Ps3 is fucked, so I have to connect it to my PC to download shit now, so no media stuff on it for me.

Good to know thanks! So might be worth it to get 6 months even though only a few months left in the season.

Also I read on this review http://www.htpcguides.com/ballstreams-review-premium-nba-basketball-streaming/ that it works on playstation. But doesn't specify what console. Have you used it on your ps4?

You can pay for 1 month, or 3 months. You can also pay for 6 months and suspend your account until the start of next season.

I'm watching a replay of last nights game right now.

Occasionally it can be choppy, but is usually corrected by switching to another server. They have servers 8 different servers (West Coast, East Coast, Central, Eastern Canada, Asia, Europe and Australia) you can use to watch games.

No reason to have cable or satellite with Plex it seems like.

Yeah at first I thought just 3 months for the rest of the season. But the deal from 3 to 6 months is a good chunk of savings.

Someone walk me through this, I'm all about it.

Is this available in the Portland Metro? or only where Comcast doesn't serve? Anything I can do to get away from Commiecast and their monopolizing ways would be great!

Ball streams is an illegal streaming service that charges you money.

Ballstreams is worth it.

First you have to request an invitation, wait for it, then you pay through paypal or something and there you go. I had the 6 month pass last year and it was excellent. On occasion I would have a choppy stream though, but you can usually fix it by switching to another server. They have three US servers (West, Central, and East) and 1 each in Canada, Australia, Europe and China I think. Most of the time you can choose between which broadcast team you want as well. All games are archived as well. IT EVEN HAS A CHAT FEATURE!!!

"Ballstreams" sounds like an unnatural, messy, & potentially painful condition:smiley-yell: However... for $60 a season... maybe I'm willing to take on some "ballstreams!" :tongue2:

I think I'll buy one of those Visa Gift cards just to try it out anyway to see if it works since I wouldn't want to use a real credit card on this, I can find some other shit to spend it on anyway.

Do I have to supply my own Ecstasy?
I'm afraid so, until further notice; they're currently unable to fill the demand for their swag ecstasy; as a consolation, they will allow you to help yourself to some of their mescaline though.:MARIS61:

I was worried that I'd misread Post #1, but it still says 60/year. Is this for the NBA only? I assume it's not like the all-sports online sites I watch.

Woops! My bad, I meant $60 a season, sorry 'bout that.

Butthead: UH Huh Huh! What did you say? Ball streams..... yah! I've got some ball streams..... right Beavis....

And all I have to do is give some foreign computer hackers my credit card information and IP address? Cool!

Seriously, I stopped streaming games a long time ago because of all the viruses. I pretty much had to shit can my computer and buy a new one. How safe is this?

The real hackers are right here in this country. As for the viruses, get a good ad blocker and you shouldn't have any problems.

I was planning on getting Comcast next month, but with people saying you can use this on the ps3 maybe I wont. I like the gift card idea too, might be a good way to cover some bases safety wise haha
