Serious question... This team is definitely on fire. They can win on the road or obviously at home and they are absolutely putting a smack down on opponents.

I know it's way too early to crown them the best team in the West, but they are really making a case right now.

Kudos to Kerr. I never imagined he could be this good at coaching!

Their next three games are on the road against the Mavs, Pelicans and Grizzlies. May throw some light on the question.

I think they're good, but I can't help but think the injury bug will get them eventually.

Yeah Bogut is already out with injury. If Curry goes down, their season could be toast!

I don't know why, but they just seem like a really good regular season team that won't do anything in the playoffs to me.

I would agree is Golden State had shitty defense. Right now, their defense is pretty damn good!

Best defensive team in the league (with Bogut), two legit all stars in the backcourt (one of whom is a legit MVP candidate), probably the deepest bench in the league, and they're getting David Lee back.

Not sure why everyone here seems to think their run is not sustainable. Until recently, I was mostly worried about SA and MEM in the west. But GS looks like a finals contender.

Klay isn't an All Star. Who does he replace on this list?

Westbrook, Harden, Curry, Dame, Paul, Kobe. Don't forget Monta, Parker, and Conley are probably ahead of him too.

They've had a fairly easy schedule so far, but 19-2 with a 14-game winning streak is impressive, no matter who you're playing (well, except maybe the New Jersey Generals). Curry and Klay Klay get most of the recognition, but they have a very good balance of offense and defense. Iggy, Draymond Green and Bogut are all very good defenders. When healthy, they don't really have many weaknesses. And, now that they have a better coach, they might finally make some serious noise in the post season.

So far, so good. I am curious to see how they respond to the inevitable adversity. But you can't not be impressed with what they've done to date.

I predict getting Lee back actually slows them down (no pun intended).
I think they're a better team without him.

Getting Lee back would slow them down both in gaining wins ratio and as a team on the floor, because he is slow with the ball and is a weak defender. Isn't this what you call a pun?

Uhm, no.
pun: a joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or the fact that there are words that sound alike but have different meanings.

You make fun of me because of my English but Jess taught me everything I need to know.

He would slow them down - they wouldn't win as many games.
He would slow them down - slow their offense, hog the ball, etc.

All jokes aside (no pun intended), the Warriors are a very good team. Curry, Klay, Bogut, Draymond, Iggy, Livingston, my man Festus, Harrison Barnes - these are all very good players.
They are deep, they've been together for awhile, they're well coached, what's not to like?

I watch many sitcoms and I think this was very much a pun.

If it's a fact that getting a good player back makes the Warriors worse, that would be an example of irony. A pun is a play on words.

Those aren't puns at all. What you are describing is the definition of slow. A pun is a play on words, using one word, that sounds like another, but means something else. For example:

I used to be a doctor, but I lost my patients.

Instead of:

I used to be a doctor, but I lost my patience.

Getting him back "Would slow them down" it's double meaning. Isn't double meaning the same as a pun?

Here is an example of using Lee as a pun.

I would think Lee would "lee" me to believe he will slow Golden State down
