If it helps, the McClueless handle he has given you does not fit either.
Anyway,
And he is in Dantoni's system. Look at what Chris Duhon did in it without Amare. 7 assists and 11 pts in 2008-09.
Depends on your definition of average. Here are how the numbers break out.
Start with nine pg's that no doubt you would rather have over Felton:
Paul, Nash, Deron, Rondo, Westbrook, Wall, Kidd, Rose, and Parker
Add another two that I would take, but are debatable:
Andre Miller and Billups
That is eleven, making the best I would put Felton is at twelve.
However, I think he gets put into the same group of players as Nelson, Conley, Harris, Curry, Jennings, Collison, Hinrich. Ridnour, etc. That makes him an average starter.
If we are talking above average in relation to all point guards whether a starter or not, I agree that Felton is an above average pg.
Again, look at the numbers Duhon put up then compared to what he is doing in Orlando. The money Felton was able to get in Free Agency is alot closer to the money Kyle Lowry pulled down than it is what the cheap Memphis franchise gave Mike Conley.
Chris Duhon is an average PG and those are average numbers he had in NYK.
I'm not really concerned with what kind of money Felton is making. I don't get wrapped up in that when judging talent. Felton is a starter and around middle of the pack among starting PG's and even you agree with that. That is above average. If the argument was above average for starters, than you may have a point. But, I said above average among PG's. Without a doubt he's above average and certainly a better PG than Beno and Bledsoe which he was compared to originally.
