Dude. You have to put it in context. It's not just one bad half. But the gradual decline that has led up to that bad half. He has slowly but surely gotten less and less effective in this league and I looked at the boxscore and went "wow, his prime has past." And you must agree with me. He's not what he was. He used to be an MVP candidate. Now he's not even an All Star and getting "less and less effective." I was noting it. Every single player in the history of the game reaches a moment when they are "done." It appears that Kidd has reached that moment. He is not what he was. Not close. His days of being a dominant point guard in this league are "done."
And I do agree here. He is past his prime. He's not an elite player anymore. However, he's not done. He's still an effective player and manages the game better than almost every other PG in the NBA.
The reason I made the point I made is because it seemed like you were saying he might as well just say fuck it and retire because of his bad half.

Kidd still is one of the highest IQ guys in the NBA, so the guy is legit
