RIP. :sigh:

Even though I'm a Broncos fan.. this goes beyond that. A father to someone, and significant other to someone, took his life.

thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family and all affected.

Thats 3 Broncos tragedies in over 3 years.

The Broncos have suffered more tragedies than any team should. The word here in Denver is that they feel cursed.

Dude took his own life though. There had to be warning signs. I wonder what kind of psychiatric evaluations the team does on a yearly basis..

while I tend to agree... at the same time we have to be careful of labeling it that... it can literally be different on a case to case basis. I have known two people personally who committed suicide, and my boss' daughter just took her own life a few months ago even.

In the two instances I knew, they were both off their medication. The most recent one, had stunted development, and severe anger issues and (many other problems that basically only meds could help with) from a teen life and early 20s of hard drugs. He got angry and did something like broke a bunch of stuff in his house, so Child welfare got involved, he had a restraining order from his wife and kid (and rightfully so IMO).... Then to top that off, he was off his meds that kept him in check... he couldnt afford them, and didnt ask for help. Add those problems with the stress (although a lot self caused) led him to hang himself... but without his meds, he was not in a right frame of mind and on his meds could have maybe thought about the long term and what he and his family was losing out on. Just my 2 cents... I'll shutup now.
