First thing I thought of. Wasn't there a riot at a Cleveland Indians game awhile back when they had an unlimited dollar beer promo?
 
Yea I started thinking about this after I posted it up. Is it really a good idea to get say, 5,000 extra fans to come to the game and get really shit faced when your team isn't playing well? :cheers:

Actually the Kings are playing pretty well, but yeah it could get ugly in DC.

I dont' think the NBA will ever let the Maloofs move them to Las Vegas.
 
Lol- some of you guys are so funny.

Complain about the expense of going to the game, yet when they bring out the dollar beers its a travesty....

All can be avoided with proper alcohol monitoring by the staff. I don't see an issue, in fact, I wish Rose Garden would do something like this, either with beer or food.

Kansas City Kings

They have a brand new arena that's waiting for a team.

It'll be a long time before Seattles gets their shit together to get an arena built.

It's a smart idea. Servers have the right to refuse anyone who is intoxicated from buying a beer. Whatever you can do to bring in the fans.

1/2 price tickets for anybody riding a Harley.

It's ironic the Kings fired Eric Musselman after he was busted for DUI and Adelman also had some alcoholic issues in Sacramento yet they encourage their fans to get sloshed during $1.00 beer night. LOL
