They picked the right music for that display, Buddy Holly sang well, could smoke the rhythm side of a Stratocaster, wrote some pretty good tunes, sharp dresser as well.

I think people forget how many hits this guy had before that tragic day. And he was only 23.

In the summer of '57 then twelve years old I was given a 45 RPM Record player and started my music collection. Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis records were the first into the hopper.

I was only 3 in 1957 but I still own over 200 45s. Most of them from the 60s.
