Memphis is having trouble with Cal State Northridge. Did anybody have them losing in their bracket?

I don't have them losing until the sweet 16. Them losing would be a huge blow to my bracket.

Calipari always recruits bone-headed athletes. Its cost him missing the NCAA tournament and it cost him winning the National Championship in the past. Great athletes, sure. Fundamentals of the game they lack.

As much as I love seeing upsets -- the best part of the tourney -- this would be a big blow to me too. Wow... tie game! This is similar to watching the Grizzlies last night against Denver.

I think you'd still be better off than most people. Maybe you should root for them to lose.

i have memphis in the final four so..........

i also got butler and byu in the other games

who cares if it ruins your bracket? upsets make this thing great...unless you have money riding on a bracket than I can see being upset, otherwise, NBD

CS Northridge is impressive! They got big guys who can finish at the hoop, and guards who can make the open 3. They got a good team.

I thought the NCAA tourney was sold out here. The RG looks empty.

People usually don't show up until their team is playing....UW plays next

Possibly, or maybe just the scalpers outside asking for ridiculous prices..

The pricing hierarchy is starting to crumble. You can get an upper-level seat for $60 apiece. The lower-level is still holding steady in the mid triple figures, and one scalper tried to tell me that there's not many left. We'll see.

Tipoff is approaching, the fans are funneling in and there's a line to get inside the Rose Garden. Now is the time the buyer's start getting antsy, tipoff is approaching and the prospect of spending $100 bucks to get in the building starts to sound appealing.

It's really like a poker game, but instead of cards, the scalpers are holding the tickets.

"I don't know if there's going to be anyone inside," said one fan in purple. "All the tickets are out here."

After Purdue wins their game, I will be 4/4 in the first four games finished of the day (with an upset predicted... if you want to call it that... with a 9 over an 8)!

Go me!

There are hundreds of listings still on Craigslist, and I'm now seeing lower bowl tickets for tonight for $65. I'm heading down to the RG in an hour or so; I imagine I'll get tickets for tonight for <$50, lower bowl, no problem. I just called a guy on Craigslist for a ticket in the 200-level at $65 and told him I'd give him $50. He declined, but more people will start to sweat a bit soon.

Section 102, Row H, just got a ticket for $25 for UW game.

Gotta run!!! Tons of people here!

A win is a win. I don't care how it happens.

Funny that Sallie averages 4 points a game and suddenly gets 35 with ten threes. We were watching this at school and I was like having a heart attack. I don't care now, a win is a win.

I went to session one today at the RG. Good times!

I went to both and paid <$60 dollars. I was in the first level for the UW game, and I was in the second row of the 3rd level for the night games.

It's a buyer's market right now. See you on Saturday.

who won the street fight?

I was watching the NCAA tourney at home, and they briefly had the RG but then switched it to the Cal/Maryland game. My only pet peave with the NCAA tourney is that you don't have the option to stick to the region that you are in with a specific channel. I wanna see the action in the RG in our zone not necessarily anywhere else. I like our air time! So why don't they give us a second channel to watch our local network?

One thing I've always noticed about NCAA tournament sites is how antispectic they are. Other than one wall mural in the 314 section that has Oden and Frye in a community pose, you can't even tell what city you are in other than the "Portland" on one end of the court and the "Rose Garden" on the other.

It's really weird, but then again, the ushers don't even know wth they are doing. They must be hired hands.

So whats the deal with tickets?
Do you pay for the whole thing, thurs and sat...each game..or 2 games a "session"? Also, did everyone have to clear out from the arena after each game?
