Tonight's crowd was fuckin weak! No enthusiasm at all until Dirk went into GOAT mode, and Peja found the fountain of youth.
Did anyone else just catch what Rick Carlisle said about the Mavs crowd?
"You gotta give our crowd a lot of credit. I mean it was every bit as loud as it was in Portland in here tonight (sic)"
That says a lot. Both how loud Portland fans are, but just how much of an impact it has. I really wish Portland fans could experience a 2nd round and Conference finals again. (of course, a finals would be swell too)
I see a few posts in there about DAL getting better after Game 4 in our series, and how BRoy made the Mavs more focused.
So in an odd, convoluted way, BRoy is beating the Lakers.
yay....?

the entire team imploded at the end (not just this game). yes pau has been a ghost the entire playoffs and had he played like his normal self we'd be up 3-0 likely. but the game slipped away due to a collective effort. lol, it's the one thing they did collectively: meltdown.
As if we needed any more proof, I think we saw more of it tonight. The guy is a choke artist in the big game. Always has been. Jordan never let his teams fall apart like this. Ever.
LOL too funny! We played well... Kobe

Chill out dude, get a grip. Kobe's not Jordan but Jordan wasn't great in the late 80's against Detroit, nor in his second title run. Or his last three Finals.
Really????
In 13 seasons in the playoffs Michael Jordan only had a PER below 25.0 twice - 24.7 as a rookie (and actually led all players in PER that post season) and 24.8 the year he came back near the end of the regular season after playing minor league baseball.
In 14 seasons in the playoffs, Kobe Bryant has only had a PER above 25.0 once - 26.8 in 2009.
Michael Jordan's career post season PER is 28.6. He topped PER = 30.0 four times (career high 32.0)
Kobe Bryant's career post season PER is 22.4. As I mentioned, his career best is 26.8.
Kobe at his post season best is well below Jordan's post season average. Kobe at his best is not even close to Jordan at his best.
Jordan's PERs during his last three post seasons (second 3-peat), at the ages of 32, 33 and 34 were 26.7, 27.1 and 28.1. Kobe's best three year run was 25.0, 26.8 and 24.7 at 29, 30 and 31. So Kobe at his peak was well below an older, past his prime Jordan (who was still the best player in the game at the age of 34.)
Jordan was better, and it really isn't close enough for a reasonable debate.

You're not applying PER correctly either statboy.
I see you have some reading comprehension problem?
Here's a link to the top 100 post season PERs with at least 300 minutes played.
Kobe doesn't crack the top 50 once (his best is 55th). Jordan's name appears in the top 50 eight times (4, 6, 13, 14, 26, 30, 45 and 48).

I see you have some punctuation problem. That's a statement, not a question.

Dude, lol SlyPokerDog is having some issues today.
