Oregon Tech's Danny Miles won three in 04, 08, 12

Is that really part of the Pac NW? Not only that, it's NAIA, that might as well high school.

My neighbor girl was on all three of those teams than went to Oregon.
Brian Meharry. She was one of the stars on those teams and even at Oregon.
She married Smiths assistant coach after college.

She married her high school assistant coach?!?

Hearing rumors that Casey is getting involved in the MLB to Portland deal. Which explains the retirement and made up position at OSU. Easier to step down from the made up position than head coach in the middle of a season if needed.
How cool would it be if he became Portland MLB's first coach?

Yes, after she graduated for UO.
Cant remember his name but he was one of Smiths assistants during HS, he the accepted a head coaching position in Washington State somewhere. So he may have been 6-8 years older is what I'm thinking?

Ad Rutschman coached Linfield to three national championships in football: 1982, 1984, 1986

The Linfield Wildcats football team has the longest streak of consecutive winning seasons across all levels of college football. As of 2017, the team has had 62 consecutive winning seasons. Linfield has won four national college football titles (NCAA Division III: 2004, NAIA Division II: 1982, 1984, 1986) and have played in a total of seven college football national championship games (NAIA runner-up in 1961, 1965, 1992). In addition, the school has won three national titles in baseball (NCAA Division III: 2013, NAIA Division II: 1966, 1971). The Linfield Softball team won two NCAA Division III Softball Championships in 2007 & 2011, and were runner-up in 2010 & 2012.
