In before BGD proposes we pick him up. ;)

I am not at all comfortable with the idea of Raymond Felton carrying a gun around.

If he can't fit his fat fingers into the trigger guard I think we're all safe.

New York Knicks star Raymond Felton was being questioned by police Tuesday morning after allegedly pointing a gun at a woman, sources said.

The starting point guard, whose wife, Ariane Raymondo-Felton, recently filed for divorce, was being quizzed at the 20th Precinct Station House on the Upper West Side, according to law-enforcement sources.

The woman involved was his girlfriend, sources said.

It was not clear where the alleged incident happened.

The Post’s Page Six reported last week that Felton’s wife filed for divorce after 19 months of marriage.

Felton — whom the Knicks signed two years ago in a vain effort to replace Jeremy “Linsanity” Lin — scored just eight points in the Knicks’ 110-108 loss to the Dallas Mavericks shortly before the incident on Monday night.

He inked a $10 million, three-year contract, and the team failed to unload him by last week’s trade deadline.

Gotta love New York Media.

Is there a more incompetent owner than James Dolan? At least when Sterling's team underachieved and made shitty moves, they made money.

Sterling is an accomplished slum lord though. He worked up through the sleaze ball ranks. Dolan is just rich.

More details are coming out. Apparently the wife TOOK the gun that was left at HER APARTMENT to the police station and that brought the charges. What a fucking bitch.

According to a law-enforcement official, the arrest stems from a semiautomatic handgun that allegedly belongs to Mr. Felton and was left at the apartment of his estranged wife, Ariane Felton.

Ms. Felton and the attorney representing her in divorce proceedings took the gun, which had 17 bullets in the magazine and one in the chamber, to the 20th precinct station house in Manhattan Monday evening because she no longer wanted it in the home, the official said.

Ms. Felton, 26, said that on four occasions, most recently Feb. 14, Mr. Felton waved the weapon around in an aggressive way but didn't point it at her, according to the official.

The official said the weapon and ammunition aren't legal in New York City.

Deron Williams on Raymond Felton situation: "I have a license to carry in 26 states. Im not bringing my gun to New Yotk."

I don't know much about guns, but does it make sense that there are 17 bullets in the magazine? I thought clips only held 16. Also, why wasn't she charged for possessing the weapon too?

Nevermind about the magazine size, did a little research and it looks like there are 17 round magazines.

The mag sizes vary by the manufacturer. A Glock 19, for example, comes with a 14 round mag. You can buy extended mags though.

So let me get this straight...

The gun is unregistered.

It was not found on Felton or in his residence.

It was BROUGHT to the police by his wife who is seeking a divorce? What... the... fuck. How can they actually link the weapon to Felton? There has to be finger prints or something on it, right? I'm not saying he's innocent, but come on. She can just say it's his gun and the police take her word for it? She's divorcing him! Sorry, but I've seen what a woman can do when she's ready to cut ties to her husband.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Didn't it say he had a girlfriend too? Sounds fishy with the ex...

If the possession of contraband is illegal, how is it that you can bring contraband to the police station and not be charged with a crime. Hey Mr. police man, I have this fully loaded weapon here (oh and there's some illegal pornography over here, a dead body over there, and some crystal meth too). I had my attorney come pick this stuff up and bring it to the police station because it is my soon to be ex-husband's shit and I am just tired of having it at my house.

Exactly. Also, if it is his gun, she knew he had it for a while, right? Wouldn't that implicate her?
