OT OT: Rockets in free fall, Pistons on 4 game win streak since Josh Smith was waived

Funny little tidbit from the rockets twitter. They never lost more than two consecutive games. Guess we were the ones tumbling, only buoyed by our weak division.

We are 4th seed. Rockets are doing the tumbling because they can't compete with Spurs. Meanwhile, we are 3-1 vs Spurs.

Proof there is such thing as a Jinx. We can all thank Jinxspeed for this wonderful thread

when are you congratulating us for winning the season series?

Haha, I hope you are just trash talking and not serious. We beat the Spurs in the regular season last year, didn't end up to meaning much though.

So, do you think we'll beat the Mavs or nah?

You know why beating the Spurs didn't mean much last season? It's because you guys suck. And the Mavs will destroy you guys. Good luck, I guess.

Rockets got lucky when Howard got injured. Now that he's back they are dead meat. They are gonna eat the Mavs dust.

Josh Smith scores 1 point in biggest game of the season and the Rockets get destroyed.

Even as the 2 seed, I don't think anyone around the league took Houston seriously as a legit title contender. It's Harden and a bunch of others.

They're not much better. If at all.

Yet they went to the 2nd round and we didn't.

Last year, at BBS, a large majority of them said the rockets were better than the Blazers over and over... yet we went to the second round and they didn't. That is literally all that matters.

And I feel their first round opponent was much worse than the one Portland matched up with. I think if the two faced each other in the first. Houston prob would have gotten even. But I think competitively, like POrtland, they don't offer much. If things were different in Houston from a coaching standpoint, they could be a lot better IMO. There is just nothing there.

Opposing teams with a capable PF have to be licking their chops when they have Terrence Jones/Josh Smith/Donatas Motiejunas defending.
