Rubio's not garbage. But, he's far from the star that the media and Wolves fans want to believe.

Statistically, Hickson is averaging a double double, he must be better than, I don't know, 3/4 of the league?

Just saying'

No I am saying statistically in the advanced categories. And as far as hickson is concerned; he is better than a lot of players; especially 3/4 of the league

OK . . . I really don't care about Rubio anyways. Just when I see him referred to as garbage and worse than Price, I feel compelled to try to bring some reality to the situation.

But whatever, if the analysis around here is he is garbage and Price is better and the stats show it . . . well I guess I will just say I think that is a wrong analysis and leave it at that. I've never really been into stat analysis and will not be good trying to give examples or arguing stats with someone. So i give up. :)

I think Rubio is a glorified Sergio. But they both have the same shooting percentage.

If you asked me if we should get him if we could for cheap? Absolutely!!!

Sergio could never sniff a triple double if you played him 48 minutes a game.

Gotta call bulllshit on this one. I'm sure if Sergio would have played 48 minutes per game he would have come close to a triple double on a nightly basis. You would have regularly seen him post games with 9 points, 8 assists and 11 turnovers.

although sergio is all alone in the playoff categories

Rubio sure seemed to have more potential than Sergio, or maybe it was just more hype. The difference being that Sergio was a late 1st round pick (27th) and Rubio was a high lottery pick (5th). Because Sergio never improved, he as out of the league after his rookie contract. Does Rubio have a similar fate in store? Who knows, but the other PG David Kahn selected with a high lottery pick, Jonny Flynn (6th - where'd he go to college???) is already out of the league.

Meanwhile, in the deepest PG draft in NBA history six of the next seven PGs selected are all starters with PERs above 16, one (Jrue Holliday) is an all-star and another (Steph Curry) should have been.

17 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and counting in a blowout over SA

He's always going to be a liability in the playoffs until he learns to shoot, and will probably make more turnovers than assists in pressure situations.

Meh......He's still Bricky Floppio to me.

One game, a career does not make.

I don't even really give a shit about the guy. The comment I made at the time was never meant to compare him to Rondo in terms of talent, just style (i.e. pass first guy who isn't much of a shooter, but can be a pest on defense) Other people took that to mean I thought he was going to be a future Hall-of-famer.

no, no, no, he's no better than Sergio, and the equivalent of Ronnie Price. lol

It's cool. You ain't gotta lie to kick it. Brush that dirt off ya shoulder.

Another good game tonight. Except they lost by 8. And Rubio shot 30%. 14-7-7 is nice til you realize that his terrible shooting makes a big difference in the overall outcome.

Missed a FT that would've tied the game against Toronto. Choke artiste!

cool story bro.

For those stat overs, 37.5% from the floor, and 28% from 3.

ricky: better ast%, stl%, Drtg, Trb%
coming off major knee surgery and with his all star PnR partner gone the whole year.

He can't shoot and yet he still produces just as well as cher boi.

his crappy shooting has nothing to do with his knee.

Minnesota would trade Rubio for Lillard yesterday. And not just because they're desperate to take Portland players.
