The best Apple Butter I ever had, was given to me as a Gift, Homeade in Perry GA. no doubt best I ever had.

Apple butter, that's what I was thinking of. Hell I don't even know if you can still get it. And Hickey's I once gave a chick over 20 of them all over her neck, chest & stomach. Don't ask, to much mad dog 20-20. All I know if that I practically suffered from lock jaw for the next two days. That's when some girls were just tramps. AH! the good old days.

OH WOW... I forgot about those Paddle Balls on the rubber bands. Yeeha...
I also forgot about those Yo-Yo's great stuff Ron...Rick too...

Say Ricky, you were a Pro with those Paddle Balls...Me, they only hit me in the eyes...! Same with Yo-Yo's, tho' I loved both, they got the better of me...

Walk the Dog, (wasn't it)?? ... I've forgotten alot of those Yo-Yo moves, can anyone help me out with those names, of Yo-Yo moves, rather performances.

Thanks for the Nostalgic Thrills, both of you...

Speaking of being punched in the eyes, do you guys recall 'Gorgeous George' the Wrestler, who was also (40 years or more later) in the Movie Snatch, as a Big Burly Bare Knuckle Fighter...?

LMAO... good one Rick...!!!

You were a real Vampire my friend....20 Hickey's did she use make up to mask them all, along with those Turtle Necks, which were so popular back then, and now I know why...LOL...good to good, he he, hopefully her Mama never collared you, or did she...? You could always give Mom a Hicky too...

I must confess I was no good a bolo bats and balls.

Apple Butter, I don't see it on Store Shelves like I used to.

The only Hicky I got after 24, (yep had plenty in prior years) was from a leech in a creek... Well I'm not telling Kim's Secrets...

Oh my Lord, MD-20/20...my gut is rotting thinking about those days. Like cough syrup. Boy that stuff would knock a elephant out....at least it did me, plenty of times, when I was 19 vacationing in Fla...

You see now where MD-20/20 is made/sold in Watermelon, Berries galore, you name it they flavor it...stunning, reminds me of Slo-Gin...Peach, Strawberry, you name it, they made it, or make it.

I only wish my eyesight was MD-20/20

Rick, I got the neck, but missed the "chest and stomach" full of Hicky's...holy cheetohs Batman...! You truly are half Vampire. Bela had nothing on you my friend.

Check the "I wish my eyes" were MD-20/20
Eyesight on MD20 was one of a blind man, from my own experiences with the Doctor or M.D. 20/20...I couldn't see the gutters, & thought they were troughs for puking..!

The crap we used to do, its a wonder any of us are alive to tell/speak of these things.

Hey I wouldn't have minded, her mom was pretty hot also.

One last addition, waking up on weekends to Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam.

Then waiting for TWIB with Mel Allen, and the Game of the Week, MLB on 1 of 3 TV stations I got on the Tube, once we moved from NY-NY...

Reading all this Nostalgia makes me think: (yep I do think on rare occasions).

I never knew how good I had it made in NY, not until I moved to those less fortunate places, KS wheat fields, Luzianna bayou's, when transistor radio was ones best friend.

When I only got 3 TV channels IF I was lucky, on antennae. CBS, NBC, ABC, that was it. Then welcome to L.A. home of 10 TV stations. Way long before Cable was thought of, let alone Satellite Dishes, GPS, Google or MapQuest.

Hell, I watched, Supervised, and Inspected the 1st GPS Satellite Payload Bay installation, as well as the GPS Units installed on the Shuttle Discovery, Columbia, Challenger et al. That was but the early 80s.

My Youngest Sister, 20 yrs my younger, takes it all for granted
. She thinks installing the 1st ever GPS Units (or any to follow) were/are nothing major, the flipping fool she is. Kids today take too much for granted, especially when we tell them what we grew up without, not to mention what we created or built, for them, rather their welfare, goodwill, and convenience. "To make this world a better place for those who follow"-(Quote by Roberto Clemente)-

Aye, its late on the East Coast, 10 pm. Rest well folks..

Yanks game on Sunday telecast here in my Desert Adobe Boondocks place...

Cya soon, hopefully sooner or later....dats dats dats all folks...

Here in NY there were 7 TV stations, 2,4,5,7,9,11 & 13 And the funny part was, you never had trouble finding something to watch. And the TV guides were about a 1/4 of an inch thick. I currently have TV guides from 1961, 62, 65, 69 & 71. Every now & again when I'm feeling nostalgic I look through them just for kicks.

LMAO....to good. Mine too...!

I quit asking for those bolo bats, after a few ass whippings. Altho' the paddles never hurt or blistered my butt....

I'll never forget, a Mom, spanking her kid out front, as I rode my Sting Ray by. She yelled at me, "Hey can you go get a Weeping Willow Switch for me"? I knew her kid, and never liked him, so I quickly obliged her; with a 6 foot long whip. I sat there on my bike relishing every whip the kid got. (after all the SOB kid stole my bike one day prior).... ;-D

Wow, now that is a collectible I know I would enjoy, and you've got to be on a Golden Yellow Brick Road down Memory Lane, looking at those antique TV guides. Does that mean we're antiques too....LOL....

I wish I had those old TV guides.

I do have an assortment of Programs, Score Cards, and Year Books, from the 60s to Present, of the Yankees, S.F. Giants, A's (both KC and Oakland), Cards, Angels, and Bums.
(no longer the Trolley Dodgers, rather the Freeway Car Dodgers, or the Gang Drive By Shooting-Bullet Dodgers of late).

Enjoy those TV guides Rick, that is one Awesome Collectible I am sure. I have seen a few, but not many TV guides from the 60s, only at Sports Memorabilia Shows. Along with all those MLB magazines we both used to read as kids, including some yellow fragile old newspapers, going back to WWII).
