When has he claimed ownership of the tapes? Faceshield recorded him; I assume she had ownership of the tapes. You're making the claim that the tapes were illegally obtained. I haven't found or heard of any legal findings that support that point of view.

It was my understanding that he requested he be recorded for his future memoirs. In that sense, it would be insane that he wouldn't insist that ownership of the tapes were his.
