OT-Taurean Green agrees to terms with a team in Greece

Von Wafer won us 1 game, which should come straight off Green's contract, since we traded him for Wafer. The fuzzy part is whether or not Wafer won us a second game by shooting himself out of Game 5 or not... in which case, we might be able to deducat another half-game off of Green's contract.

If he injures a player another NBA team was looking to sign while in Greece, I think we can give him another half win for us.

:devilwink:

Uh, it was that year.
From the O:
"I think Taurean Green is going to win us three or four games for us this year,'' McMillan said. "I do.''

After I picked my jaw up off McMillan's desk, and asked him to repeat what he just said, the coach remained straight faced and insistent on his prediction.

"Hey, he can shoot, man,'' McMillan said.
I told him that I think the rookie point guard from Florida showed some guts and savvy during the summer league, but before I could say anything else, McMillan cut me off.
"You're damn right he does,'' McMillan said, referring to the guts and savvy comment. "He's small, but you don't win back-to-back (NCAA) championships as the starting point guard unless you can play. You put him on the floor at the end of the game with Brandon (Roy) because he can shoot the three. Right now, I would say he is the best three-point shooter among the guards. He handles the ball, runs the pick and roll, gets up on his man ... I like him.''

Another reason why that man should have stayed in the NCAA for his last year and just get a higher draft pick and experience. No wonder why he got sent down to the D-league and traded so much. Not sorry for the poor sap.

Hard for some to imagine that Nate isn't right 100% of the time. And yet people wonder why coaches and GM don't make predictions or put themselves out there for the media.

I wish him luck, he's a real cool guy.
