He could win MVP if this continues. Rescuing the Knicks? Huge.

Dude is doing everything, taking charges, scoring 38, unbelievable.

"I know who he is, but I don't really know what's going on too much with him. I don't even know what he's done. Like, I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I'll take a look at it tonight though."
[Asked again about Lin] "I don't even know what the [fudge] is going on. What the [fudge] is going on? Who is this kid? I've heard about him and stuff like that, but what's he been doing? Is he getting like triple doubles or some [stuff]? He's averaging 28 and eight? No [stuff]. If he's playing well, I'll just have to deal with him."
[Would he consider guarding Lin?] "Jesus Christ. Let's not get ahead of ourselves."

Team is 8-15. Lin inserted as PG and Knicks are 4-0. That's about as MVP as you get. Will the Knicks be looking to trade Melo and/or Amare?

The GSW's had him last year and let him walk. A couple other teams passed on him this off-season also. Our GM would've picked him up . . . but (insert your favorite Blazers GM joke here).

Whenever you're down about the Blazers - just think that you could be a Warriors fan and you'll feel better about yourself almost immediately.

I thought Hollinger had a great point in his ESPN article on Lin. D'Antoni is a one trick pony, but that one trick is getting maximum value out of a true point guard. Put Lin under Nate and there is no fucking way this happens.

The bad thing about Lin is no matter how great of numbers he puts up you're always hungry for more 20mins later.

Put Lin under Nate and you get Sergio haha

Lin gets 8 ppg and 4.5 apg under Nate, no doubt.

Maybe we should throw some big money at him this summer

I know you're not 100% serious, but I believe NY has his early bird rights. So we would be restricted in how much we can offer him. The Knicks would be able to match also.

Linsanity

Half man-half amasian.

Love how the guy is playing.

Are you sure he's a restricted free agent? The guy has been on three teams and I don't think he was signed to a two year deal.

Well, he was signed to a cheap 2 year deal by the warriors after going undrafted in 2010. GS would've had his early bird rights, But GS waived him. And then Houston picked him up off waivers, but then later waived him. So because NY claimed him off waivers, they now own his early bird rights, I think.

So we can't throw max money at him. Drats!

Lin won't even be in the rising stars game, unless it's as a replacement.

For your info, just read this outloud on our media bus heading to the plane and Rice is STILL laughing!!!! Classic post!

Lin autographed rookie cards have gone from $10 to $150+ in a week. too bad this was impossible to see coming.
