I hope they'd go with Buckaroos, but I like Steel Heads too.

This is a really smart move. The OKC Thunder's logo and lettering suck. If the Portland's logo looks cool they'll have a ton of sales from OKC.

Yeah it really sucks because a lot of us are very interested in football and they had a chance to be the biggest games around without having to drive hours up or down I5. The logo would look great if it had a different word on it. My guess is the owner thought it was cool and surrounds himself with a bunch of yes men. Obviously the fan suggestions and votes were meaningless to him.
