Three players are averaging at least 20 ppg. That is just stupid. Can any team beat them in a 7 game series? I think our offense matches up with them as good as any other team. Can Harkless hang with Durant though?

Can Harkless hang with Durant though? Yes. Harkless wears a Blazers Jersey.

to beat the warriors, u have to be really physical with them. yeah, not our strong suit
No. You need to be able score with them. We can do that. Houston and Cleveland too. I think those four teams are the only true contenders this year.

I don't think trying to outscore a team with Steph, Klay and KD is the way to go. Gotta stop Steph defensively, which is what Love did last year. LeBron just took over too.

I think a team like the Clippers is built to beat them.

Love did it for one possession.

I agree. This is the last shot for that Clippers team and they know it. I could see them pulling an upset in a 7 game series.

It's about as fair as Karl Malone and Gary Payton joining Kobe and Shaq just to end up losing the final...karma's a bitch

Those guys were 40 years old.

The Warriors signed a 28 year old perennial MVP candidate (and sometimes winner) to join another, on top of having just beat the regular season record for wins.

Kobe and Shaq were in their prime and even at the end of his career, Malone could run the court for a full game without even breathing heavy...he probably still can. Unfortunately he did get injured before the finals but he was a big part of getting them there...Payton was too.

Curry has had very few injury free seasons...his ankles are made of glass. The way he plays is actually pretty high risk for a guy with bum ankles

The Warriors effectively signed a prime Malone (MVP candidate).

The L*kers signed two aged veterans who were seeking a ring.

I know....isn't everyone seeking a ring? ..my point is they had 4 hall of famers to chase that ring.....and the game has changed...some stars today wouldn't have looked quite as impressive against big man ball of the past. Durant dominates in a small ball world of 3 pt shooting...

Barkley says weird things at times.
But he also says some smart things as well.
To beat the Warriors, you don't try to out score them. You pound them on the glass.
No other team in the league right now has two past scoring champions on their team + Thompson.
You won't score with them, especially over a 4-7 game series.
You can however get physical with them like the Thunder did to go up 3-1 before Westbrick and Durant decided offense was more important than physical play.
The Cavs got physical with them in the finals.

Warrior fans who follow the team have one worry. Big, physical teams. Even they admit it.
It's an even more glaring hole without Andrew Bogut on the team.

SO ONCE AGAIN I'M VERY CONFUSED!

The individual who started this amazing thread, predicted that'd our Blazers finish AHEAD of this Warriors team.

Can somebody please explain this logic to me.

And we drafted Oden.

:/

The Warriors aren't fair. Portland can score with them. Therefore, Portland isn't fair.

Break up the Blazers!
