Wow, I bet he has his own cook on the bus. Can you imagine bussing across country by yourself in a big custom bus?

Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace is finally on his way back to Charlotte from Los Angeles, but instead of flying he has to travel by bus because of the lung injury he suffered against the Lakers, the Associated Press is reporting.

Wallace left Los Angeles on Tuesday in a charter bus loaded with movies and videos to pass the time. A team spokesman said they expect Wallace to complete the 2,400-mile journey late Wednesday or early Thursday.

Sounds a lot more fun than my post-9/11 Greyhound trip from Wichita to DC.

Ha just like John Madden! He won't ride planes!

I think it's more b/c of his lung condition (pressurization and de-pressurization could be bad) rather than Madden's fear of flying, since Wallace (iirc) has flown everywhere his team has for the last 7 years.

I should have worded it differently. I meant Madden wont' ride planes. My bad.

That's a great idea for a reality show.

What wacky adventures will happen next when an injured NBA player hitches a cross-country bus ride with a bombasatic TV announcer? Find out next week on Crash and the Coach!

You know you might be on to something there. A new reality series called stuck on a bus. Get a good mix of weirdos who will get into lots of trouble, and make lots of scenes, and it would draw a lot of viewers.
