OT: Will the Spurs make the playoffs?

So question... If the Spurs do miss or falter, will Duncan retire?

Possibly, but like I said, I think they're setting it up to make a huge acquisition this summer. They might be going after Gasol. I could see Duncan coming back on the mega cheap for one more ring. Duncan and Ginobili might be willing to come back for cheap. I think Green will get a big offer though, so he could be gone. They also have to max out Leonard. They're kind of in the exact same situation we're going to be in with Rolo, Wes, and LA.

god damnit people, I made a joke and none of you fuckers repped me. That's it, Im gonna start banning people!

Seriously... They just lost again. Wtf is going on?!?!

injuries and increased minutes.

Not having Leonard and Parker is hurting them, and not having Mills hurt too. And Ginobili is playing like crap (tho scoring a similar #).

@AlexKennedyNBA: At 18-13, this is Spurs' worst start through 31 games in the Tim Duncan era. Last time they started worse (9-22) was 1996-97 without Duncan.

P.S. Kingspeed... Remember when you said they were never 10 games under .500 during the Duncan years?!

Edit: Wow my game sucks today!!!!! Dammit!

by reading that, and if im reading it right, they were in fact never ten games under .500. that stat was before duncan.

If I were to rephrase it, it would say :

"At 18-13, this is the worst start in the Duncan Era.The last time they started this bad after 31 games was in 98-99, at 9-22. Which Duncan was NOT a part of."

That's how I read it, at least.

So what's wrong with the Spurs? Only a game ahead of Phoenix with a game against Houston looming and OKC on the rise. Pop's cockiness has caught up with him. Thinks he can rest his stars and still claim a top seed in the West. Now, possibly no playoffs.

I heard on the radio today some NBA "expert" saying that Duncan is going to most likely retire and that the Spurs are going to go hard after Marc Gasol.

Did you see how many of their guys are free agents? It's like Neil and Pop are having a showdown.

If we make the WCF the team won't change much but if we lose in the 1st round it's going to be a really interesting offseason.
