Anticlimactic ending. Going to be Game 7.
And while I was watching Blazers tied game.

Ohtani getting out of that inning just shows how tough he really is.

Wow. Rookie pitcher who started season in low minor league. Played first game of season in front of 300 fans. Just got out of 7th with double play.
Some stellar defense by Toronto.

Jesus H. Guy hasn't had a hit in a month ties Game 7 bottom of 9th.
Team and fans ready to celebrate in Toronto.
Will Jays have another Joe Carter moment or worst heartbreak ever?

That’s baseball for you. Random guy golfs out a low slider to tie the game

I was Ubering Saturday and picked up a couple from a bar who had been watching the game. We heard Vlady get to 3rd, heard Barger walk, and were just talking about him taking 2nd as the most natural thing in the world. Dude's all, "Obviously they can't throw to second or else Vlady will score." I follow with, "And you have to eliminate the possibility of an inning...game...series-ending double play." And then listen to the next couple pitches, assuming the steal is coming momentarily. When the DP came, we were just...stunned. Absolutely baffled that they never sent Barger.

While Dodgers swept League Championship series, they won Divisional series on error in extra innings.

A lot of closely matched teams. No one dominated. Comes down to one pitch, one bounce of the ball, one split second difference between safe and out at the plate bottom of the ninth.

That's baseball. Why it's such a great game.

Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia missed the entire World Series due to unspecified personal reasons. He just revealed the personal reason was severe illness of his baby daughter Sterling, who died in the middle of the Series.

Sometimes things out baseball into perspective.
