After the Salmons trade last season, they were beating everyone and even after Bogut went down, they played okay and took the Hawks to 7 games. Going into this year, Bogut was back and they added scoring with Maggette while losing veteran presence Jerry Stackhouse. What the hell happened?

Jennings has been hurt. Bogut hasn't been healthy all year, still a good defender, but his offense is nowhere where it should be. John Salmons has sucked. Jon Brockman and Earl Boykins are rotational players.

According to sports illustrated it is be because they are the team most effected by injuries.

Nice thread topic Kingspead! I also thought that the Bucks would be making some real noise this time of year. On paper, they were poised to make 2nd Round of playoffs.
It must be chemistry or coaching, because they have the talent.

John Salmons has a history of only playing well his first year or so at a club and then dissappearing until traded, then popping up again long enough to make a team depend on him.

Injuries for definite. Team has been hit hard. But where we took a hit and still had a guy who could score, they did not have the same luxury.

Stackhouse was a good bench player for them last year and now he is gone.

They don't have any great players, and only 3 or 4 good ones.

Plus, they're in MILWAUKEE.

... and that's why they don't put basketball teams in beautiful central Oregon (which was effing cold this weekend - 2 def F in Sunriver. Really? How do you people live like that).
