this is sad but true...

Zach Randolph's career can be summed up in last Tuesday's 87-83 loss to the Cavs. Randolph stuffed the stat sheet as usual, tallying 20 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. But he was on the floor as the Cavs charged back from 19-point deficit, and he launched a horrendous, 26-foot bomb with five seconds left and the Clippers down by two. Coach Mike Dunleavy's reaction to the air ball was priceless. No surprise that Randolph was on the bench when backup forward Steve Novak knocked down the game-winning three-pointer against New Jersey on Sunday night.

Mixum: being a Lakers fan must make it especially gratifying for you to see the Clippers wallow in futility for all these years.

As Usual? You really think that he stuffed the stat sheet his career in more than 2 categories? 6 assists is good for him.

Zach Randolph is the best player the Clips have had in years, and Dunleavy should kneel and kiss his hand before each game.

:biglaugh: Guess you haven't heard of a guy named Elton Brand

This was the clincher?

Well I know he loves Sergio, and being a Bayless supporter it has gotten on my nerves the way he picks and chooses stats. But, I've seen him post some decent things before too. Now stating Z-Bo is better than Brand leaves me :biglaugh: so I know he can't possibly believe it's true.

I thought maybe he just had an undeniable love for Sergio or was his agent or something

i think Randolph, if he stays somewhat clean and in shape, will be a very good player on a very good team soon. he'll go somewhere as a vagabond and help a team looking for a title. we've seen this in recent years with Miami, Boston and others.

don the blazers need a backup PF? haha

The funny thing is, I don't remember Maris being like this over on BBF.

he'd be an upgrade over what we have.

Perhaps talent wise. As far as chemistry goes he would be a disaster. Stat-Bo is never going to come off the bench and be happy. Roy asked the team to dump his ass because he is a total loser.

I would try and get a refund on my season tickets were the team to sign that dick. I could barely stand the one season.

Myth. When he expired we could have used that (well, unless if it was Pritch making the calls).

He doesn't expire until 2011. I'm not sure what your point is. Carlos Boozer would also be a better back-up PF than Randolph. Same with Pau Gasol, and also the same with Danny Granger. :dunno:

Sure, but we're not getting those guys with this "cap flexibility", are we?

we're going to get an Andre Miller or something....something we could have likely traded Zach for 2 years ago for.

I'm happy with the way things turned out, just as I was happy the night he was traded. ;)

I'm happy where the team is now, but Frye and the imaginary cap space (Rudy could have been done separately, still contend that) was worthless to us.

I'd have traded Zach for a bag of crap, and getting Rudy in the deal was a big bonus.

Rudy was a deal for cash. We bought Sergio for cash from a suns team that liked having PA's $$$$.

For Frye and Cap space...it was a shit trade. People said Frye would surprise us. He has........

Yeah, the Blazers have really struggled since dumping STAT-BO, and STAT-BO's teams have been tearing up the league.

Zach would've stunted LaMarcus' growth big time. I'm glad we found a sucker to take his big fat contract.
