Looks like 6 weeks training in PDX helped. Showed up to church in NOLA this morning. Looks like he shed some pounds.

If Zion comes back strong this season, NOP has serious firepower: 4 guys in the starting lineup that can give you 20+ on any given night without too much trouble. Interested to see how Zion and Valanciunas work together.

Might have to rename them YEP.

These are from a photo shoot at Nike from last week.

Where’s the Zion to Portland rumor thread?

That's a defensive lineman if I ever saw one....wrong sport for that body!
Yeah... "keeping the weight down" can mean different things, but I'm not sure that having more muscle and less fat will help him stay healthy. He might just not be built for it, as you said.

The Pelicans should hire Karl Malone to work with this kid seriously...he's right there next door on his farm in Arkansas...probably fishing..

Unless Karl Malone became a Podiatrist during retirement, I'm not sure he could help.

ya gotta give him the max. The season he was healthy he was off the charts good. It's a risk but will probably pay off pretty well.

It's a question mark but when healthy he is really really good. CJ, Zion, Dyson Daniels, Valanciunas, Herb Jones, Brandon Ingram, Larry Nance Jr puts them ahead of us.

In the real world, if you are disabled and not able to work, you have short-term disability that can go into long-term disability. Those pay a portion of your regular pay. The NBA needs something like that. In the cases of player who are constantly injured, or something like what Ben Simmons did last season, they certainly aren't going broke, but it does hurt the franchise and the club is not getting what they were paying for.

Uh NO! We have the best player of them all. But continue to doubt him if you must.

Just saw that his contract has a stipulation that at no time can his weight and body fat % add up to 295 combined……

Blazers are much better. Not even close. With or without Zion. Pels be overrated.
