Our PG are getting a 16.8 PER, while giving up 18.4 PER (-1.6)
Our centers are getting a 15.9 PER, while giving up 18.8 (-2.9)

On the flip side, our SG and SF are just dominating the other team's players.

SG getting 16.9 PER, while giving up only 10.9 (+6)
SF getting 17.8 PER, while giving up only 11.4 (+6.5)

So maybe the PG and Center needs by Nik are relevant?

Or maybe because Nic and Wes are the best individual defenders on this team? (The truth)

But this is not only Nic and Matthews. Lillard plays SG and sometimes Batum at times. Also, Wright plays SF as well. What we do know is Freeland, Aldridge and Lopez are manning the total center production (with the exception of a couple games Leonard played). At PG, mainly Lillard and Mo are playing it.

Mo Williams' 10 PER definitely isn't helping that cause. Dame is right around 20 I think.

This just underscores why I would make a strong play for Lowry.

Also.. 2 Guard isnt exactly a strong position in today's NBA

Nic and Wes play the bulk of the minutes (34-35) and do a relatively great job. I'm surprised the offensive PER from the PF position is so low. Aldridge has an individual PER of 23 and plays his minutes exclusively at PF despite these stats saying otherwise:

My guess is

1.) 82games hasn't updated in quite a while.

2.) 82games is counting LA as the center when he and Freeland are on the floor together. Which is wrong.

I think this is accurate after RR7 questioned the math of the 5 man units.

Maybe our point guards and centers should be measured in purr instead of per.

According to 82games.com

Mo has a 12.1 PER at PG and gives up a 22.5 PER at PG....eek. They list him at SG as well, but I really think when he and Lillard are in the game together, Mo is the PG

Wright is actually solid (maybe I looked incorrectly before?) 15.3 to 10.1 at SF

Freeland is 9.7 to 15.9

It could be why our SF numbers are solid. It also could be the reason I think Damien has been better defensively as well. When Dame is playing SG, I rarely see him get burned. It's when he's playing PG is when he looks extremely exposed.

I just don't think we'd go after Lowry and it's mostly because of Olshey's relationship to Mo Williams and why he came here, I just don't think Olshey would compromise that and his rep with players/agents and send Mo to Toronto, much as I would love to seem go if Lowry is coming back!

Hahahaah Look at Leonard! He is getting a 18.1 PER, but giving up 39.9 (-21.8)

I would like to point out that Neil told Eric Gordon he wouldn't trade him, but then pulled the trigger on the CP3 deal. Neil gets along with the players, but he also understands that it's a business and when an opportunity comes along to improve your team, you do it. It's not show friends, it's show business.

It's really weird, but I thought freehand was doing sooo well. He is getting a 10.5 PER, but giving up 20 (-9.5). Even Lopez is behind, getting a 15.1 PER and giving up 20.3

PER isn't everything, but I also think people are overrating Freeland because he was so bad last year, and this year he actually resembles an NBA player.

for sure, but since that's how it is don't promise these guys that you won't trade them
