The team building exercise is bringing Steve Blake back to break something in the locker room and yell at everyone. Pryz will be standing behind him with a chair.

This season has been such a disappointment so far. Sometimes an inspirational blast from the past serves as a nice diversion from the sad reality. Anyone know where I can find a copy of the old "Taking Care of Phoenix" song from the 90's? (Parody of "Taking Care of Business" by Randy Bachman) Can't find it online. My other go-to vices, such as "Brandon Roy Takes Over : The Movie" aren't cutting it anymore. I need a new distraction

This isn't what you were asking about, but I was watching this last night and it brought back good memories--I had almost forgotten what a beautiful machine the 2000 Blazers were, on offense and defense. It's good watching, IMO, and seemed appropriate here.

Love it. Not even Calabro's voice could spoil the memories from winning that series. Even in the twilight of his career Pippen was a baller. Thanks for sharing!

The Blazers are currently 3 losses from having the 3rd most amount of losses in the league. They are also currently 7 losses behind the #7 seed in the West (OKC). At 18-25, they are the #8 seed in the Playoffs in the WC and currently would have the #15 Draft pick next summer. The Magic are 17-26, currently out of the Playoffs and the #9 seed in the Lottery.

So 1 game difference for a 7 spot jump in Draft position.....which it's becoming more and more obvious on a nightly basis that the Blazers need as much talent as they can get their hands on.

Paul Allen’s submarine is sinking, and the players are giving up on the boat.

Or, was that the plan since his submarine is designed to sink?

Holy shit George Karl was fat as fuck.

A wasted year of Lillard's prime. :(

Man, what if Whiteside had chosen Portland instead. His 17pts/14rebs and interior defense would look great on this team right about now. Instead he's on a 12-30 Heat team that's even more pathetic.

We can't tank, but we can't win. You just stumble through the remainder of the season and see if McCollum can generate buzz for an All Star trade over the summer, because he's the only top-level trade asset we have.

Shit's depressing, yo.
