Paul Allen had Michael Jackson killed.

It's perfectly obvious, isn't it?

Paul and Jody were using the security detail as their private harem! Pitchforks! Torches! Moral outrage! :MARIS61:

Once you've had Navy Seal you make them sign a confidentiality agreement so they can't squeal?

I do have to think it's a terribly bad idea to fuck with a former FBI agent; this guy was probably taking notes and collecting "evidence" the whole time he was witnessing whatever maleficence Jody and Paul were up to (allegedly).

Hopefully she used a web cam as well.

Turner described the work environment at Vulcan as “hostile”...My ethics and morals are not aligned with those demonstrated by the Vulcan culture.

RoseHaley told the court..."in my opinion the legal consequences of their actions showed Vulcan to be a company that was internally conflicted over how to please the Allens, and what was reasonable to expect of Vulcan employees in an effort to satisfy the personal needs of Paul and Jody Allen.

Guess it was only a matter of time before the veil was somewhat lifted. Very Interesting glimpse into the dysfunction that is the Vulcan Organization. Fear based, hostile, and vindictive. No wonder a shy young genius like Rich Cho didn't stand a chance, it wasn't in his nature to be able to please someone detached from reality and ultimately unpleaseable.

Still very disappointed to this day that Allen was not able to make Rich work, if your half the man you claim to be Paul there's no reason why you couldn't have made some good use of Cho. But atlas, I can fathom how a BillionDollar Ego would get in the way of that, so I'll do my best to forgive you.

Go Blazers.

All that the 3 security people allege is that Paul and his sister had unspecified bad behavior. Since they're all recent government employees, they're used to big-company bureaucracies. I'm guessing that Paul and Jody yelled at them like they were servants. Which they were. Note that one of the 3 had been employed a month there and one other only a few months. They wouldn't do this if they couldn't go after deep pockets.

I do find it "interesting" that the plaintiffs equate pleasing the boss with being unethical.

The working environment in a small business (or a closely-held family business in this case) is very different from a bureaucracy (big business or government). The boss says to sign something that prevents lawsuits against him? You do it. You don't go crying to some government agency, hoping to sue the company.

Dude you do realize that one of the people who quit stating unethical decisions and conduct was a formal Navy Seal, right? I am pretty sure the dude could handle being yelled at. I have no idea what they are claiming happened with Jody and Paul, but I am fairly certain it is more than just being yelled at.

Hey Voodoo, welcome to S2.

Thanks, been reading here for over a year, but mostly read/post on RealGM.

The gerbils themselves aren't illegal or even unethical, per se.

The things the Allens wanted done with them seem to be the issue.

Let's think. What would a former Navy Seal object to that Paul or his sister told him to do.

Kill someone? Nope.
Cart off a captive to a torture asylum? Nope.
Burn down a thatch village? Wait, I'm thinking of Vietnam.

Have sex with a yak in the snow in the Khyber Pass? Zounds!...That's the only theory that works.

Now that I know that Paul and Jody are into yaks, I like them more. Does anyone else want to guess at which Seal ethical standard is the issue?
