Plays like Danny Ainge
I was thinking Dan Majerle but I must admit his drive at the end of the 1st quarter against Dallas did look like DA.
Gentrification Bros.
I'm going to hell.
He's pretty strong watch the Kentucky game, he was guarding a 6'10 250 lbs Trey Lyles.
Out rebounded all of their bigs combined, not long rebounds either under the basket banging with those boys.
In the tournament. Neutral site. Was this game at ND or KY?
Don't you ever underestimate the heart of a Summer League Champion! If it weren't for all the hype surrounding this guy, would he really be standing out based on his summer league play? He's shot a good percentage from 3 but haven't seen much else from him.

How many American Caucasian players were drafted ?
I think he is doing what the coaches want him to.
Who knows what the coaches are telling him. This is summer league, and guards with legit NBA talent usually go crazy. Pat hasn't shown much. I'm sure he's a great athlete, but it doesn't seem to translate much to the basketball court.
I think Pat is one of those guys that was drafted because of some impressive workout numbers.
Eventually when he's an established player I want to see him play baseball Jun-Sep then back to the Blazers. We've never seen a dual sport NBA MLB
When he said "we", I presume he meant people not yet of retirement age.Dave DeBusschere, Ron Reed and a few others beg to disagree. I remember DeBusschere because he was a damn good basketball player and I also had his 1965 Chicago White Sox baseball card:

I remember Ron Reed because he was from my home town and his dad was friends with my dad. He was a very good pitcher who made the successful transition from starter to reliever. Like Cannaughton, he was a multi-sport star at Notre Dame.

System type players struggle in SL and NBDL due to lack of structure and a heavy improv free for all type of game.
The only thing that really concerns me is how he is late to react on the defensive end. He really needs to work on staying with his man. I guess I'm a bit spoiled from the Iron Man. Seeing that shit sticks out like a sore thumb.Yeah, I'm still high on this guy. Funny how some people want to cast final judgement on rookies half-way through summer league.

Yeah, I agree. Pat has a good opportunity to be a starter in a couple years if he can work on that part of his game. I this the offense will come naturally in Stotts's system.Maybe he and Damian can work on that this summer.
