For all of you needing a Patty Mills fix.

He's been back in Australia at the Australian Institute of Sport, working with doctors, and sports scientists to get healthy.

Before you get the inevitable sarcastic responses, let me say a genuine thanks (mate). Mills seems to be a great guy, and here's hoping he can be our very own Aaron Brooks.

He hasn't been hanging out with the tribesman in the Outback and smoking the peace pipe?:devilwink:

No offense aussies...

But why are the blazers trusting aussie doctors to take care of Patties foot?

I would think Portland has their own set of specialists they have hired and trust their players too.

heh. With the way our players are handled. I'm glad he's in his own country getting taken care of.

A class act. I like this guy a lot. I wish him the best and hope he gets some PT here.

I like how the Australian media talks with their players lol that 2nd interview was great.

It's probably for the best he's getting treatment in Australia. The Blazers trainers/doctors track records is somewhat spotty at this point.

Thanks for sharing the vids DUB ... he seems like a good kid, hopefully he doesn't just become another Taurean Green.

I can't be the only one who kept wanting him to say "by crikey!"

Thanks, Dub. Ignore all these crude bumpkins and just talk directly to me. Can you get me a hat or a boot from Crocodile Dundee?

Will Patty Mills be more Luc Longley or Luke Schenscher? That's the pivotal question.

Was that "pivotal" part meant to be a pun on the fact that they're centres?

Always luc on the bright side of life, I say. Who was the pint-sized Aussie who scored a bunch against the original Dream Team and nearly got into a fight with Barkley? And I see that CJ Bruton (a Blazers' draftee?) is still doing well for the Boomers.

It was, actually. I hoped someone would notice that. I also liked that both names were a variant on "Luke."

Good to know he's alive. Sure would be nice if he would send some tweets out every now and then for the fans. Not like we expect daily reports or anything. But something would be nice.

Strangely enough Schenscher is playing for the Perth Wildcats, where Longley is an assistant coach, and part owner.

Shane Heal, the guy interviewing Patty in the first clip. Massive FIGJAM.

It was at Salt Lake City in a warm-up match for the 1996 Olympics.

Heal also nearly got into a fight with Shaq at the 1994 FIBA World Championships. He's an arsehat.

And I see that CJ Bruton (a Blazers' draftee?) is still doing well for the Boomers.
Yep, CJ was drafted by us. He's still playing well in the local comp. Not sure if he's still playing internationally. I don't think he's officially retired, but has handed the reins over to Patty now.

Only just able to watch the Miami replay now.

Patty is sitting behind the bench, behind Greg.
