You're a good dude and deserve to shit in your boxes.
Hurtful, but not entirely unfairFIFY
Wow, that’s a take.Yeah
Few hrs after processing this, still not getting the point. This is a really expensive signing for guy who cannot play anymore. A similar signing coulda been made in March. Confused about what Neil is doing-- can anyone spin this for me?
Kaman could play tho. Gasol is one ankle turn away from the end of his career.A mentor for Zach maybe? That's my guess. It feels like when the team got Chris Kaman. In spot minutes he can do ok, but don't expect much...but really just as a vet for the younger players to lean on (Zach, Anfernee, Nasir, Skai).

I'm happy to see anyone from here go on to bigger and better things. The dude grinded it out and got a gig on Comcast. Not bad. I hope @BonesJones does something similar. I also hope that you have greater success in whatever you what to be or attain. You're a good dude and deserve it.
Last few years in the league Sabonis on Line 1.Skal? yes, i believe he is talented.
Gasol won't be able to keep up. You need some basic level of athleticism on the court.

What is the bones kid trying to do? Get his own show?I'm happy to see anyone from here go on to bigger and better things. The dude grinded it out and got a gig on Comcast. Not bad. For the win!!!!!Not sure how I can improve sitting on my couch in my boxers. I'm very good at it already
Why can’t I see this post?Someone said why should i care about what this person has to say from the vid clip up above -- this is what a forum is for or anything that gives a voice to people -- when i post i realize 99% might not give a damn what i say but i choose to say my peace and see what comes of it good or bad or maybe nothing but this is why we live in a great country it's called freedom of expression / speech.
You and @PtldPlatypus are so negative lately, lol.Few hrs after processing this, still not getting the point. This is a really expensive signing for guy who cannot play anymore. A similar signing coulda been made in March. Confused about what Neil is doing-- can anyone spin this for me?

He will contribute WAAAAY more than Tolliver. That’s not saying much, but I’ll be glad to see Pau on the court over Anthony.Few hrs after processing this, still not getting the point. You rang FAMS?!?Who are we even talking about? And did dude really start here? Ain’t a lot of folks, with talent, that started here...
And did dude really start here?
Then maybe hire an assistant coach and use the spot and luxury tax $ on someone who can help us on the floor?Kaman had a decent 1st year in Portland, but his 2nd year it was obviously more as an assistant coach role.
Gasol is just 1 season away from averaging 10 points and 8 boards in 24 minutes. That's not to say last season was an aberration. He might be in the Caldwell Jones playing for Portland stage of his career. But as I said, I think he's more of a mentor role than anything. I'm not too worried about him averaging more than 8 minutes a night for about 55 games this year. If he can help Zach expand his game (modeling it after Gasol would be smart, imho), all the better.

Gasol is a really smart player. He'll be fine if healthy. We'll be lucky to have him. Then maybe hire an assistant coach and use the spot and luxury tax $ on someone who can help us on the floor?
my concern is more opportunity cost. still some holes on the rosterAnd if we're really concerned about the 14th and 15th man on this roster...
One of them was big man depth which we just filled.my concern is more opportunity cost. still some holes on the roster
not to belabor the point, but we have 4 centers (hassan, gasol, zach, and skal), 4 SFs (hood, baze, mario, and little), and tolliver as our lone PF.One of them was big man depth which we just filled.

Zach at PF is a complete question mark for me.
