I'm not hiding as I am right here. You stated as if it is FACT that Toronto would not trade Gasol period. You brought Embid into the discussion, not me so I used him in a hypothetical. I learned my lesson several years back as I believe it was hoopguru that suggested Blake and Outlaw for Marcus Camby and several posters including me and I believe you as well said no way. Well, it happened.
The 76ers would never offer Embiid for Gasol so your whole post is completely irrelevant. Maybe try to have a logical discussion for once instead of presenting an unrealistic question to try and start an argument.

I'm sorry that applying common sense to my posts makes you think I'm stating a fact and can never be wrong.

oh hoopy, your arrogance never ceases to amaze me. Take Embid out of the post then if it bothers you so much. You simply don't know what Toronto is willing to do or not do has been my point all along and you continually dodge around that premise. I have offered up some reasons and all you have done is try and argue about Embid not being offered by Philly. Have a nice day.

Ha, typical Cup. I've been right way more than I've been wrong. I never claimed to always be right with my OPINION that you are trying to turn into a FACT.

The funniest thing about this is before the season I thought Toronto was going to struggle this season (which I was wrong about) and possibly trade guys like Gasol and rebuild around Siakam. Then they extended Lowry indicating TO ME that they weren't going to rebuild otherwise they would've handed the PG keys to VanVleet. In my post that you quoted I specifically said they weren't going to trade guys like that if they remained among the better teams in the East. That's not an absolute statement buddy.

I used to think that Kawhi Leonard is better than Meyers Leonard. But Cup would say, why would a team take Meyers for Kawhi? So I guess I was wrong.
