So? Russell can't play that way.He and Lebron are very close friends. It’d be Lebrons team. The crazy Russell would shrink. They’d be lethal.

Yeah, I heard that too, just curious what the actual details were.Future first round pick from Miami is what I heard.

Hmmm thanks. I wonder if that would be the "protected pick" then in the deal. Not sure how reliable this info is.

Along with Harkless’ expiring contract, the Clippers also acquired a future first-round draft pick with complicated protections from the Heat. Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald explains the details of the pick:
According to source: Heat's 2023 first-round pick dealt to the Clippers is lottery protected in 2023. If doesn't convey in 2023, also lottery protected in 2024. If doesn't convey in 2024, also lottery protected in 2025. Then unprotected in 2026.

At that point I'm guessing OKC would love more picks.OKC getting SGA and picks is actually not terrible. I think that dude has some serious potential. I’d have to believe Westbrook is on the block now, and you know what team I could see trying to grab him? The Chicago Bulls. Otto Porter Jr, Zach LaVine, and Kris Dunn for Westbrook and Roberson would be a blockbuster move.
Well, at least the lakers got fucked. And Kwahi-PG is a damn good team, but less scary than Lebron-AD-Kawhi.
In fairness to OKC and Westbrook, they didn't get any further in their 2 seasons with George than they did in the year Westbrook had to do it all himself.Another thing is what does OKC do with Russ ? This move is basically them giving up contending for a title in favor of building for the future, I can't think Westbrook is happy with that
CJ for Russ!!!! Do it!Another thing is what does OKC do with Russ ? This move is basically them giving up contending for a title in favor of building for the future, I can't think Westbrook is happy with that
Not enough money going back.CJ for Russ!!!! Do it!
CJ for Russ!!!! Do it!
CJ for 4 first round draft picks and expirings! Not enough money going back.
CJ for Russ!!!! Do it!
If OKC trades Russ to the Lakers for picks I hereby resign my NBA fandom.
Clippers had space for an unbalanced trade.SO WHY WE DIDN'T TRY TO GET HIM!??!!??!?!?!?
Rival NBA teams have been aware of the discontent of OKC's two stars: Paul George -- and Russell Westbrook, league sources tell

. Leonard pushed the Clippers in recent days to deliver him a second star, and they did.
SO WHY WE DIDN'T TRY TO GET HIM!??!!??!?!?!?

Can't happen this summer anyway.
Lakers can't get enough money in contracts to make it work, unless they traded LeBron for him.Why not?

Maybe the Wizards trade Wall for Westbrook. Wizards think Beal and Westbrook could make a run in the east. OKC can tank while Wall recovers.... I dont know its 1am and Im just spit ballin lol.
Maybe Miami goes after russ to pair him with Butler, those two seem like they deserve each other...OKC had better get another haul of draft picks for taking on that salary. That would be horrible for Washington, Beal would be shut out at the wrong time by Westbrook and it'd be the same old story (both for Beal and Westbrook). But what else are they going to do? At least they'll be a team that people want to watch.
Facepalmed...SO WHY WE DIDN'T TRY TO GET HIM!??!!??!?!?!?
