Last night I was trying out some Bobby Womack fills..Jimi probably learned the same ones...just simple double stops

Used to listen to Wilson Pickett or early Aretha stuff for Womack fills. But I was a crap guitar player and I'm the first to admit it. He's all over those albums. I love that story of Clapton cutting him on his own equipment!
Mabon Teeny Hodges is my favorite R&B guitarist. He's just the shit! All that Hi Records/Al Green stuff. Sweet as candy. I think he even has it over Cornell Dupree.

How'd the surgery go?

Very well. I found out I'm allowed to put my full weight on my leg, but use crutches when necessary rather than all of the time. I'm thankful to be able to hobble around.
