Peja Stojakovic
Doug Christie
Bobby Jackson

Peja I think has 2 years left on his contract, but is an All-Star who if we can pick up should be resigned. Christie's D and shooting is a need now that Kittles is gone. Plus he would help out a ton in the Locker room, and hes only got 1 or 2 years left on his contract so he would help our cap next year. Jackson can run the point or play the 2, and is in his final year, but could flurish once he gets out of bibbys shadow.

Peja's played with Kristic before in Serbia, I think, so he might approve this trade.

Hate to give up Aaron Williams but if we do, that will open the door for Kristic, Davis, and Scalabrine to get more time. And if we are somewhat rebuilding we should let them play as much as we can.

I don't Peja....He fades away in the playoffs and I think the Kings wouldn't want to give up that much depth for Kidd, especially when they still have Bibby after that trade. Bibby has like an 80 million contract, just to sit on the bench? I don't think so.

RJ would be SG by position listing only. Peja is a long range shooter so he could be SG on offense and on defense RJ gaurds the shooting gaurd.

Kidd doesnt want to play in SAC..his three teams are Lakers, Spurs, and Mavericks..I doubt he would approve a trade there and if he refuses to play there it wila ll fall through...and Peja does fade during the playoffs but I think he could help the Nets out a lot give them a pure shooter which tehy need.

Yes, now we need is a tough interior player, and a shooting guard.If we can't get a excellent sg, we can sign Ray Allen next season.With a more mature Krstic, Jefferson, we can win a champion.

Well I guess I'll go against the grain here, I dont like the fact Peja doesnt create his own shot and has shown a trend to fade in the playoffs, but this guy would be a perfect compliment to RJ on the wing, often times RJ would break people down off the dribble kick it out to a shooter and come up blank, cats missing shots all day. If you put a shooter like Peja next to RJ then RJ's playmaking will improve and it will also change how teams can defend RJ. Now that RJ is taken that next next step he will need another perimeter player alongside him to take some off the scoring pressure off him.

The only problem I would have with this trade is I dont want Bobby Jackson or Doug Christie. I like BJax as a player but he isnt suited to be an everyday starting point guard, his game is very wild. I think he is best suited in his role of playing a combo spark plug guard off the bench where he is able to have some freedom. And doug Christie isnt needed either, he is a great wing defender and can handle the ball a little bit. But with Eric Williams wrap up for the next 3 years and RJ being a pretty good perimeter defender, our wing defense is solid imo. So all he would do is create a logjam on the wing at the 2guard & SF positions. if we had Peja, RJ, Eric Williams, Mercer, and Doug Christie that would be to much imo. Also I think that the Kings would want Jason Collins instead of Aaron Williams, he younger and he fits in well with there trend of having bigmen who pass the ball extremely well out of the high post. And thats probably where the problem would come in, the Nets do seem intent on giving up Collins, I think Portland wanted Collins in the Shareef deal, but the Nets said no and that was a snag in the dealings. But a deal of.... ..........sounds good to me

Jason Collins in Sacro would be able to move to his Natural postion PF. So oddly enuff JC might produce more in their system offensively because their offense is ran to get their bigman alot of good looks at the top of the key mid-range shot and thats probably JC's best shot.

I put Aaron Williams(?) because what bigbody we sign depends on where A-Train would start on our frontline, he could play his natural PF postion or have to start as an under sized Center. But either way with the inexperinced Frontline A-train will clearly have to start at least at the 1st few months of the season because he is our only dependable bigbody.

Also I agree Rj could move to the shooting guard because it would mainly only be for defnsive purposes. And being surounded by Mike Bibby & Peja, RJ's shooting would also be covered up a bit.

I have know Idea why Sacro would co this trade except Peja wants out. Harris contract can be buy out which would save them like a million dollars or something like that. And Collins would fit well into their system and is young with still room for growth. This trade would probably be more likely if Kidd wasnt running around with one ankle. But if Sac was to want to do this trade I would take it if Iam Rod Thorn easy.

pn friday when usa played serbia and montenegro krstic started for them and he played pretty well he blocked like two shots and got more rebounds than Collins ever does

No way is such a trade falling through Sac would be unwilling, and Thorn would have to trade Jefferson, to appease team chemistry...too costly

Kristic looked aggressive, which is fair enough. He didn't do great, but atleast he tried hard and had some moves to get around a premiere low post defender in Duncan. He has quickness to him, but Duncan just outmuscled him tremendously. He'll need to beef up. He definitely looked nervous as he made silly fouls and took poor shots, but the talent is there. However, I don't think he'll contribute big this season, but I do hope he proves me wrong.

I dont think Kristic will contribute big time this season either and definately not as a starter like alot people have him on their depth charts in this thread. More than likely Aaron Williams and Jason Collins will both be starting on our frontline unless we somehow make a move to get a bigbody who's ready to play right now. There was some talk that Eric Williams would try to play a little undersized PF as a starter and I think that would be horrible. Yes, E-Will could guard some power forwards in certain situations but I dont think he would be able to play the 4 spot as an evryday starter, I much rather see that position go to Aaron Williams. And use Eric Williams with our second unit frontline because on defense he can take away some of the pressure off the new guys.

E-Will, I think should only play the PF position against undersized PF such as himself. I think that A-Will must start at PF, he has hussled and not let down the team these last four seasons. With Scalabrine coming off the bench playing PF, I do not think that there is a need to bring E-Will to play the 4.
