Anthony Davis didn't have a very good game, but there's no way he's not the best PF in the league either next year or the year after. That guy is an absolute beast.

By the way, you have to give Monty some credit. He got his team to play hard the tail end of the season. I think next year the Pelicans are going to be pretty damn good.

Given how San Antonio never gets worse, how will it feel having 10-11 legit playoff contenders next year in the west, and still only two in the east?

It's been my beef for some time now. The West simply has better owners and more competent management. It results in superior franchises which ends up hurting the West. The first round or two for the East are pretty much cakewalks while even the first round for the West is a bloodbath.

None of this means that idiotic posts can't be discussed. My favorite are the posters who think each time they pass wind and a trade idea floats out, it deserves its own thread. If someone writes something stupid, or something overly negative, then that deserves to be mocked. The Leonard post in this board about him being the worst Blazer ever was one of those posts, and its stupidity generated discussion. Would you prefer that nobody commented on it?

If they are that stupid, I would prefer that nobody post on it, then it'll just die. But all I am saying is that its a futile effort on HCP's part. It's the internet, its where negative nancy's come. It's always been that way and will never change so ignore it.
