If you gained over 5 mil in salary you couldn't turn that into a bunch more? Especially when you have access to rich people financial advisors? C'mon....

Besides the fact that her annual salary wasn't 193K for the last 28 years, her net worth isn't 196 million dollars.

$26 million...still the point stands

Hate it 90 percent of the time.

For an interstate highway? Ok but they better get paid.

For a sports stadium or something? Get fucked.

It is really hard to make a line somewhere because morally it seems wrong.

To build the wall they literally have to take people's land by eminent domain.

So Meyers Leonard makes in half a season twice what Pelosi has made over 28 years....whew...puts it in perspective

Well, obviously Meyers Leonard is out to make money for himself! His net worth should never be more than what he made while playing in the NBA.

Trump will next say the southern border needs braces badley...American steel braces....which he's owned stock in since his inheritance..that and coal

Here's what you don't seem to understand:

Now Trump's shutdown is affecting HIM.

How the fuck can you utter the phrase:

"The state of our union is strong"

When you shut the government down?

Trump needs reminding that the branches of government are co equal.
This shutdown is on Schumer, he killed the House bill in the Senate. If the President had vetoed the bill, it'd be on him.

Well, she can't hit the swish3.

McConnell refuses to put any of the current house bills to a vote, so by your logic even if it was on Schumer before Xmas, it is now on McConnell.

no...it's on Trump and then McConnel for blocking the package on the table...dems brought several options to the talks..Trump walked out twice and said he welcomed a shutdown and he'd totally own it...dems wanted to fund border security and table any wall discussions for later on...pay the border patrol folks and use high tech security not a fucking wall

Any conservatives wanna take a stab at it?

@MarAzul? @MARIS61?

Why didn't Trump pass a bill for wall funding when Republicans controlled the House, Senate, Presidency, AND the SCOTUS?

Presidents can’t pass bills, that’s Congress’s job.

Both parties are controlled by the deep state.

Drain the swamp!

Texas just filed suit against the wall in the Rio Grande region...he's fucking with deer and wild boar hunters...free range ranchers and the church now....not going to fly.....

Childish hystrionics.

Get a grip.

Buy not take, as they have done for every road, government building, dam, airport...in the country (more or less).

A wall out of lumps of coal? Perhaps lumps of coal in his Christmas stocking.

Buy not take, as they have done for every road, government building, dam, airport...in the country (more or less).
No, it's take because many of those being taken don't want to sell. A forced issue ought to be called taken.

Wikipedia lists her at $16 Million, no. 30 on the list of Congressional members according to estimated wealth.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_members_of_the_United_States_Congress_by_wealth.
I imagine some of that came from book deals.

This is what I saw, also wikipedia

Financial status
Although members of Congress are not required to disclose their exact net worth, organizations such as the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics (CRP) prepare estimated ranges based on public disclosures. In 2009, CRP reported Pelosi's average net worth was $58,436,537 having ranked 13th among 25 wealthiest members of Congress.[216] In 2014, CRP reported Pelosi's average net worth in 2014 was $101,273,023 having ranked 8th out of 25 wealthiest members of Congress.[217]

Roll Call's Wealth of Congress Index reported that Pelosi's net worth was $29.35 million and that she ranked the 15th wealthiest member of Congress for 2014.[218] According to Roll Call, Pelosi and her husband hold properties "worth at least $14.65 million, including a St. Helena vineyard in Napa Valley worth at least $5 million, and commercial real estate in San Francisco."[218] Roll Call said Pelosi's earnings are connected to her husband's heavy investments in stocks including "Apple, Comcast, Facebook, Shutterfly and Walt Disney."[218] Roll Call reported that the Pelosis have $13.46 million in liabilities including mortgages on seven properties.[218]

Business Insider reported that Pelosi's worth was $26.4 million in 2012 and made her the 13th richest members of Congress.[1]

C'mon man..

Are you in here defending Trump? Why are we talking shit about Pelosi because she's rich? That doesn't somehow make her wrong about funding a wall does it?

I'm confused.

No he's corrupt. As is Pelosi. Just pointing out the double standard is all.

Yeah but saying the whole "both sides are corrupt" is a false equivalence. It's not a double standard at all.

Republicans ACTIVELY pass legislation to try to keep black people from voting. The Democrats aren't doing that...

It's so funny to me:

One side wants border security, but in ONLY ONE WAY AND ONE WAY ONLY

One side wants border security, but it has to include upgrades at port of entries, etc. You know... where the majority of drugs and violence actually come in from.

Somehow that got lost in the temper tantrum of that person in the house. Because he's so scared to look weak, even though people with an ounce of knowledge and common sense already know and see him as weak. (So, you know, not his base.)
