After a second straight losing season in which their defense ranked 29th in the NFL, the New York Giants have parted ways with defensive coordinator Perry Fewell.

The Giants announced Fewell's ouster Wednesday as part of a "restructuring of their defensive coaching staff." Defensive backs coach Peter Giunta also will not return next season, the team announced.

Regardless how TC thought of his staff, he had to dismiss Fewell and
Giunta with the way the D performed for the past 3 years. The real
culprit is Jerry Reese, the GM who has no clue as to drafting talent
and to accumulating several high picks. He is too conservative in
obtaining qualitative draft picks.

This is a great 1st step.... They also need to part ways with Tom Quinn

Reese surely had a couple of bad drafts. However, biggest 3 problems on defense are as follows.

1. The pussies in our secondary get hurt every other second which shouldn't be happening to that type of position.
2. The LB's on our defense are an embarrassment with no speed.
3. Fewell is a moron. There must have been 10 games where they played fine on defense in the first half, the other team made adjustments in the second half and Fewell didn't do crap to counter it. He was incompetent.
