Can't believe he collected them, and I'm also really surprised they could even auction off 115 human livers.

I wonder if his prom date from 1969 will put in a bid to buy back her panties?

He was likely trying to propagate the famous urban legend, until he realized crap I was supposed to be taking their kidneys.

Or he is a fan of the late great Hannibal Lecter.
 
I am upset with the idea of this auction of these items. The Allen group should buy this whole collection with the amount of money that 1977 championship brought them to todays value of the team. Sale of team is supposed to go to charity and humanitarian endeavors. It would be fitting to have a basketball hall of fame in Portland with the whole Walton collection. Lets see if the Allen group can step up and do the right thing. If they don't shame on them and their organization.

The 77 championship was before Paul bought the team. If anything, the championship cost him money by inflating his purchase price.

I'm not against your idea, though.

He only paid 70 million for the team he did not get hurt to bad ha ha.
 
If the Allen group does not act it will be split up by June 11th. There are estimates on the value of the items. They can come in with a number to buy the whole collection that the Walton family would probably accept if it were kept intact and have a Portland Hall of Fame.
 
I'm not sure why Vulcan would buy Bill Walton's memorabilia but I'm actually puzzled why Luke Walton and Bill's family don't keep it and build him a memorial. Why would Luke sell dad's ring? I think new owners should buy the collection, I like that idea. Actually Denny should buy the collection and do S2 giveaways! The NBA or ESPN should buy the collection and build the memorial.

Maybe they already made an overture to the Allen group. The other Walton siblings may not have the financial resources that Luke has amassed in his nba career. There will be no new owner by June 11th of this year after that date it will be to late.
 
Sent this impending sale to sports reporters at the local news station. Already received one reply back maybe some tv time might enhance the spot light on Jody.

I remember The Schonz let me try on his ring once….seriously thought about throwing it all away and making a run for it. Unfortunately I’m sure he would have caught me….
